I guess we'll see.

My cousin is not a master electrician who can get the electric company to turn on PTO (Permission To Operate) SIM card inside the grid tied inverter. Must be certified by licensed electrician, manufacturer certification, architect / engineer certified plan, inspected by city, then electric company and must at all times provide proof of $1 million insurance coverage to the electric company to prevent them from turning off your PTO.
Exactly.

You get what you pay for.

Stop whining

Bullcrap! I bought & installed my 8kw solar system for $7k, but it took $8k to get PTO turned on and didn't do any re-work. I just let them replace the meter to get them to certify the system.

I also had a meter base ripped off by hurricane in FL & that also cost about the same.

Wow, an 8kw system, that's a big system! Props to you for doing all the installation work yourself. Sorry to hear about the $8K headache you had to endure but on the bright side that size of system will pay for the $8K eventually. ;)

The idea of Musk and Ramaswami being handed the ability to make drastic changes in how our country works. terrifies me. They are both well accomplished, but not in the disparate areas they will be modifying. However, I just read that one of their first goals will be the elimination of Daylight-Saving Time. That's not a bad idea. It serves no purpose that I know of and is a drastic inconvenience in so many ways. I can support that particular goal. I'm still not comfortable with them being given such a broad mandate, but I expected much more disruption from their first ideas. I guess we will see what happens.
They can't implement anything.

They need to deregulate construction of Owner Occupied Single Family Homes (OOSFH) so we can build more to eliminate homeless. There is no reason why we must pay $8,000 for an electrician to sign off on electrical, or solar upgrade or installing EV charger. The owner occupant is not going to endanger his or his family with shoddy electrical work.

Upgrading electrical on OOSFH for minimum of a year works in Florida without them killing people.

Those inspections should be reserved for multi-family apartment's & condos.

Same goes for architectural / engineering on regular OOSFH. We have thousands of years of building experience & standardized plans, there is no need for redundant architectural / engineering on OOSFH.

Same goes for OSHA rules for homeowner upgrades. There is no reason a home owner can't remove his own asbestos! He isn't going to remove enough to harm his health. Those rules are only needed for workers who have to handle it on a regular basis.

This country has gone completely overboard on excessive safety regulations!!! They have driven the cost of housing & solar beyond affordability of millions of working people. Being homeless is more harmful than living in a house you built.
In Florida you need two government permits to replace your standard hot water heater...and no doing it yourself ...the permits are only issued to licensed electricians.

For a hot water heater.

Florida has a Republican legislature and Governor

This is what the voters want. Sit back and whine as you eat Cheetos

It is a math problem.and not particularly.complex relstive to more advanced math equations. Americas debt is unsustainable.so something drastic needs to be done. It should have been addressed in his first term but you have many self serving enemies in America who didn't want him to.address this.
How does Daylight-saving time related to the debt?

They terrify you?

I don't see why. I mean, their idea of allowing JD Vance to bite the heads off trans puppies is a fine one instead of Kamala and company paying for their transition, and I like the idea of turning the EPA and department of education into a competing gladiator subculture to duel each other in a newly built coliseum at the Captial where they can fight each other to the death. Think of the tax payer savings as they kill each other off every year.

It will be fine, you will see.

The scary part is I don't know if you are just making a joke or an actual prediction.

When an administration enters office with a stated goal of, for the first time in America's history, literally bringing down our very institutions, it's certainly fair for reasonable people to be concerned. At best, this would create serious disruptions and losses for millions of Americans. At worst, who knows. It doesn't help matters when that administration represents a swath of the country that essentially operates in an alternative reality.

Did everyone who voted for Trump want this? Of course not. Many are just not paying attention to the political minutiae, and they're used to a sclerotic, do-nothing government. That's understandable, kind of.

So, we just watch. And, assuming that our electoral system and access to voting still exist intact in the next couple of elections, we'll be able to voice our opinions on the results. The one thing we know is, ya never know.

Would it really be unthinkable to "bring down" the US Department of Education?

And, assuming that our electoral system and access to voting still exist intact in the next couple of elections

Good luck with your "transition".

I will always be fair. An open mind is great unless it's so open to things like conspiracy theories till it falls out.

They are not making 'drastic changes' , they will be addressing the 'drastic changes' the last administration instituted

Lol. Don’s administration will mimic Genocide Joe’s administration, but you’ll never get it.
“Those controversial nominations will decide more than the future of the Justice Department, the Defense Department, the intelligence community and the vast Department of Health and Human Services — although those stakes are high enough.

They will help determine whether Trump can undo the checks and balances the founders wrote into the Constitution, and turn the executive branch into an instrument of a would-be autocrat's will.”

With every reckless, irresponsible, unqualified nomination, Trump demonstrates he’s unfit to be president.
