Yeah it's still early, but it doesn't make any sense for anyone to suggest he will win it. Can anyone explain this? Why are people convinced of this?

What you don't understand could fill a library (and does).

Why don't you post evidence of this conviction.

It appears Rubio is done.

I totally agree. Even IF he pulled of some kind of miracle win... How is he going to win the general election if he is afraid to address conservatives? He bailed on the Conservative Review Convention AND the CPAC Convention. He will not go on Mark Levin or Rush Limbaugh... he does not want to talk to Conservatives at all. How the hell do you think you can win without Conservatives, Marco? Can you imagine Hillary being scared to speak to Liberals?

For many republicans the prospect of Trump as the nominee is unthinkable, as they know he can't win the GE – and they're correct.

Rubio is the only sane candidate left – he's wrong on the issues, of course, but at least he has a sense of sound responsible governance, unlike Trump and Cruz.

The reason is simple, he's the insider the gop - rnc wants to see win.

say trump goes to the final rally with 49.41% of the votes, that's not half and can't be rounded up to half so it's 'less than half'.

rub shows up 26%, 1% more than whoever

the rnc does a deal and he gets all the super delegates and back room deals and magically gets the nomination.

the stateist get their guy and lose the WH, again.

so quit your bitching and route for trump

I dont think they truly believe that Rubio can win, but they think it is their duty, as supporters of Rubio, to lie their asses off in support of him.

Republicans don't have superdelegates. Only democrats have superdelegates.

This is true but the GOP delegates are uncommitted in most states, so there is a chance... and this is what the Establishment is hoping for... that it will shake out where Trump doesn't have the committed delegates to win and they can bargain for the uncommitted delegates to back Rubio. I think this would be a very dangerous move because Trump would likely run 3rd party in such a scenario. But... the thing is, if the primary races continue as they have, Trump will win the nomination easily on the first ballot and there will be no brokered convention.

100% wishful thinking. They are hoping beyond hope that someone can stop the Trump train. They might as well be wishing for Zombie Reagan to come back and lead their party...of course, Reagan couldn't get elected with this bunch.

Trump has to appear in Court this Spring for a lawsuit he's fighting.

The 'Trump University' scam.

Trump is a scam artist. A liar, a punk and a bully.

dimocraps eat, shit and breath politics. Conservatives do not.

It is understandable that some Conservatives, who go to work every day, have families to take care of, take care of their homes, vehicles, etc, etc.......

It is understandable how people who actually have a life could get fooled by a professional scam artist like Trump.

dimocraps, who take care of nothing, work very seldom or for the goobermint (same-same) and spend most of their time trying to scam everything and everybody, are harder to fool. They know exactly who's who and what's what.

Conservatives have lives outside of politics.

liberturdians? They're a disease. If it stinks, if it smells, they're attracted to it.

Which is why almost every liberturdian in the Country is a Trump The Punk supporter

liberturdians are like dimocraps in that they eat, shit, live and breathe politics....... But they don't believe in government :dunno:

You were the one yammering earlier...making the statement "Trump won't be the nominee".

Looks like you very well could be wrong again.

At least you are batting 1000.

Talk about an elitist bent.

thanks, I keep forgetting that.

either way, some new math will be done to ensure trump and cruz don't win

Unless trump walks in with all the votes he needs and no chance as some fuzzy math, he won't get the nod
