“I don’t see a blue wave”

"‘More like a blue trickle’: Dems are hoping for a blue wave that might not happen.

There's little evidence so far that Democrats are going to crash the gates of Washington.

Many Democrats are betting on a blue wave next year to help them regain favor with disenchanted voters and claw back some control in Washington — but several key indicators are turning into warning signs instead.

Recent polling shows Democrats are still struggling to regain their footing with voters who lurched right in 2024, and that’s compounded by growing gaps in fundraising, an increasing number of messy primaries and a congressional map that Republicans are redrawing to make it harder for Democrats to win.

“I don’t see a blue wave,” said Matt Taglia, the senior director of Emerson College polling, a non-partisan group that routinely administers political opinion surveys. “It’s more like a blue trickle.”"

Why would Americans vote for more Bidenomics? Meanwhile, Democrats continue to promote men in girls' locker rooms and open borders. Good luck with that.
They keep adhering to the same policies that brought them such unfavorable returns. I don't know if it's arrogance or ignorance or can I make a new word and call it ignarrogance? Any Election strategist worth his or her salt will tell you that you must change positions to Garner favor with the electorate. Democrats have embraced the very deadly philosophy of lecturing the electorate instead and they're still doing it.

After Trump wrecks the economy, any Republican is going to have an impossible task to win.
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that event.
90% of America is economically illiterate.
They wouldn't know the difference between a wrecked economy and a functioning one at this point. it occurs to me however the Democrats have dropped the ball on the grocery issue.
Grocery prices should be front and center in the Democrat message.... They should be screaming it from the rooftops and bringing it up at every town hall meeting at every political event that they hold.
It is the most potent message they have right now and for some reason or another they are totally neglecting it and I just can't understand why.

I'm glad they are fighting for open borders and men in the girls' locker rooms. Everyone hates them now.

The economy was fine when Biden left. Unemployment was under 4%, inflation was about 2% and we had a booming stock market.

I'm pretty sure that won't be the case in a year.

Big old recession is coming, and mostly because of Trump's policies.
Well the stock market's not cooperating with your analysis. I used to think I understood the motions of the stock market but in the last 6 months or so I have to admit I am bewildered by it.

It really is a revelation of the core value of left-wing thinking. It's no longer a political philosophy it has now become a cultural virus and its adherents have grown to resemble brain eating zombies from some science fiction movie. Why the Democrats are allowing less than 5% of their base to dictate 100% of their policy is truly bewildering. The concept of unlimited tolerance is a failure.

They had decades when it looked like all they had to do was wait, for demographic change to give them complete power.

Till every state was like California, and every city was like la.

And la, was like Mexico City.

During that time, they got lazier and lazier.

NOw, they CAN'T think.

And they are deeply invested in political positions and issues, that are completely indefensible.

They are a cult of secular humanism and Marxism now.

The stock market is hardly impressive.

The bigger concern is jobs. Even before the correction, I could see a huge shift in the jobs market, in that people aren't really hiring right now.

Or maybe its just...

the right thing to do.

Hating "the other" is always the path of least resistance, and we have a long history of marginalizing people to keep the working class from looking at the Billionaire class the wrong way.

Your life if not miserable because a trans person is using a bathroom you don't approve of, or because an immigrant is taking a job you don't want.

It's miserable because for the last 40 years, the Billionaire Class has been slowly dismantling the middle class.

The DOW Is doing well. Government jobs are being cut by the tens of thousands private sector jobs are in creasing, Soon that will switch which is what we need. Biden dug the economy into a deep hole by a massive expansion of government funded by debt. Thats being reversed

The simple equation of absolutes damns them to failure. Nothing ever works as an absolute. If they would but recognize that one principle they could increase their support many fold over the next several months prior to the midterms. However in a most bewildering turn of events they have doubled down on the finger wagging, lecturing and nearly posthumous collection of exotic demands.... With absolutely no room left for any kind of negotiating.

Yes the wealth imbalance is definitely an issue.
Maybe I've just grown too lazy to deal with it...
But I'm not going to disagree with you and I am certainly aware of it.
