I couldn't believe two conservatives saying liberals were right.

So I'm watching this talk show and two conservatives were talking.

One of the conservatives wrote a book called, "Everything Trump touches, dies".

So they said, and I'm paraphrasing, that for decades, when liberals said the GOP was a racist party, they denied it. Liberals were wrong. Liberals just didn't understand conservatism.

The conservative who wrote the book, said, and I'm paraphrasing, unfortunately, when you look at Charlottesville and the rise of Neo Nazi's and White Supremacists in the GOP, it turns out the liberals were right.

The real lesson Trump learned from Charlottesville

“Charlottesville defined Donald Trump,” said Brinkley. “When he’s in a controversy an hour, people’s memories dissipate. But in the annals of U.S. history, Charlottesville will be seen as this Day-Glo moment when we saw that the president was a bigot.”

A Neo-Nazi Tied to Charlottesville Violence Was Kicked Out of the Military

(CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C.) — A U.S. Marine identified as a member of a white supremacist group involved in violence during last summer’s white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, is out of the military after being convicted at a court-martial.

Pistolis was a member of a neo-Nazi group and bragged about violence he committed in Charlottesville in August 2017.

For people who think Trump and Obama are nothing alike, check this out.

I agree that the things Trump touches will eventually turn to shit. His political trajectory isn't unlike Obama's. Trump went straight to the presidency while Obama had very short stints in lower offices before grabbing the presidency. Both did so by being cults of personality who's brand of politics was based solely around them and their ability to sell a message, and they rode that right to the highest office.

The democrats lined up right behind Obama because, why not? The dude was a powerhouse. They didn't have a coherent, cohesive message or a plan to help people really, but they had Obama. No one could do what Obama did and win because it was unique to him. Same thing now with Trump and the republicans. They're lining up behind him without much of a cohesive message or plan. No one can run like Trump and actually win.

When Obama left office, the DNC was in shambles and the party didn't have anyone who could remotely fill such a large void. Without a coherent message and plan, they got killed by Trump and the republicans. You can see the same thing happening now on the republican side, so once Trump loses (or exits after possible winning a second term), the republicans will be left scrambling to field something worthwhile without that cult of personality in Trump to carry the water for them.

Pussywhipped Joe, right?

Trump and Trumpism is like a toxic algae bloom or a death fog that kills everything that comes into contact with it. Trump and Trumpism has killed countless minds who now post on internet forums as conservatives. Poor pathetic walking zombies who don't realize they are poor pathetic walking zombies.

What does the US military have to do with Republicans being racist?

What conservatives? It's an op-ed by a liberal named Annie Karni. The incident at Charlottesville happened during a democrat governor administration in Virginia. Apparently the governor kind of hid under a freaking desk after he (invited?) authorized bus loads of radicals to confront a peaceful demonstration and it turned bad and he left it to the media to blame Trump before he surfaced again.
