I couldn't believe I heard this on the police scanner today.

Maybe if you were smart enough to figure anything out for yourself you wouldn't come off like such a moron. Think about it.
What are you howling about, howler? Oh, you don't want people asking questions about sex offenders, I get it. But you see, here in Texas we don't protect them like you do in California.

In CA a convicted felony sex offender can't own, purchase, or have a firearm unless the Governor pardons the POS.
So, it looks to me that Texas loves sex offenders. How you like them apples, you fn retard?
Lol howler, you don't know if the guy is a felon or not. It's very telling how you howlers always leave out pertinent information, isn't it?

And just because you bend the truth, it has no bearing on me being retarded or not. It simply shows the howler monkey mindset.

gay howler.webp

Okfine howling...

They pulled someone over for a traffic violation. They run the license plate and driver license number over the radio. The dispatcher comes back with make and model, who the guy is, address etc., Plus if they have a chl they tell the officer that too.

So, I have it turned on and they got one pulled over. Info comes back, that's a 2008 Chevy pickup registered to John doe st 4567 main st. He has a valid license to carry and is a registered sex offender.

WTF? Isn't a sex crime a felony?

Not all sex offender crimes are felonies, although most are. You even said that according to the police he has a VALID license to carry, so if his license is valid, chances are he's not a felon.

The omission in the current bill comes despite the fact that the Nadler amendment would keep guns out of the hands of dangerous, known sex offenders. Although current federal law prohibits the transfer to, or possession by, a person convicted of a felony sex offense, it is legal under federal law for persons convicted of misdemeanor sex crimes to buy, sell, and possess firearms. Yet H.R. 4472 does not contain the Nadler amendment. “It is simply unfathomable that anyone – even the gun lobby – would oppose a law to keep guns out of the hands of sex offenders, but clearly they do,” states Kristen Rand, Violence Policy Center legislative director.

Howler, no law will keep any criminal from doing anything.

I get it. You want sex offenders to be armed so they can rape adults and young children easier. Why didn't you just say so?

I don't make State laws, you moron.

He’s allow to carry a firearm was Mike point!

Misdemeanor sex offenses can result in a person having to register as a sex offender, not all of them are felonies. And, the police even said that his gun license was valid, meaning he had already been checked out to get it.

Hey Stupid...............YOU were the one that said in your OP that the police said he had a VALID license for firearms. If his license is VALID, that means he's already been checked out and passed the screenings to carry a gun. Might wanna talk to the NRA about getting the law changed to be more restrictive (good luck with that......).

Okfine howling...
FYI, I took you to the cleaners. Damn, Texans sure protect them sex offenders. In CA if you are convicted of a misdemeanor offense you can try to get it expunged in 10 years. Hard on gun ownership? Yes, and especially to sex offenders.

Some misdemeanor offenses can also cause you to lose your right to a firearm in Texas.

Depending on when the guy was convicted of his crime is the question and if five years have passed.
