What are Mexicans doing that the Christian Right hates them? I mean besides "Not being White"? Well, there's the whining that they are taking jobs away from Americans. Forget that even with a supposed "recession", you can't get good service at a resturant because they don't have enough staff... Those dirty Mexicans are taking jobs we don't want.

I'm a firm believer that if a law is stupid, you almost have an obligation to break it.

The problem with our immigration laws is that they ARE stupid, which is why not only do the immigrants themselves break them, but so do the people who hire them.

Case in point, from the guy who runs a sewing plant to the rich people who hire Lupe who is just like a member of the family to the middle class twits who hire a truck load of day laborers from the Home Depot, most of us are just fine with broken immigration laws.
