The media has a much harder time canceling proactive billionaires-particularly the guy who was named as most wealthiest on the planet. I can imagine a liberal network, let's say CNN for example (one that backs canceling anyone who has supported Trump during his or her entire lifetime), having to report the following about Musk..."Well, it seems that Elon Musk is trying to take down Facebook by creating another alternative for social media users. We can only say this eludes to trying to hog the market!!" LOL CNN and ilk would hate that so much making it instantly a great thing for all fair minded voters, all who know more options for consumers benefit consumers, regardless of liberal media's warped support for far-leftist agendas.

This was played out earlier this year and last year in his very active campaign to pump up Dogecoin. He even got Gene Simmons going along to get young foolish meme investors to pump it up. (Yes the Gene Simmons from KISS)
His little campaign made him and Gene Simmons a lot of money no doubt, but a ton of meme investors lost out... some big.
Dogecoin is down 37% from last month.
He has denied selling any of the fake crypto currency (dogecoin is not even a real crypto currency) but his meme pumping most definitely resulted in a lot of low income wannabe's losing their cash.

Dangerous.
It isn't the first time a squeeze like that has happened, but it is the first one that was ran up by "crowd investing".
At first I was certainly amused and even delighted to see the $millionaire and $billionaire hedge funds etc. get a taste of their own medicine.
But then it quickly became apparent that this sort of thing repeated with any degree of occurrence at all is absolutely going to result in restricted trading for all retail investors.
It may have been fun to see the handfuls of everyday people who made out big - but only at the cost of a few 100,000 people who lost what little they had in it.
