How Will States that Ban Abortions Deal With Abortion Pills Sold Online?

Abortion Pills are now being sold on the Internet by at least 6 different companies. Prices range from $110 to $450. A site called plancpills.org has information on the pills and where to get them. These companies also offer mail forwarding so states with abortion bans will not be able to trace the address of a package back to the company. Also shipping the pills through the US mail is legal.

In Mexico abortion is not illegal. They leave that up to the various states, however women are protected against prosecution for having an abortion. In most Mexican states the abortion pills are available at pharmacies, some require a prescriptions which is readily available but other sell the pills over the counter and they are cheaper than buying them online. And they can be legally carried into the US.

The question I have is what are the states that ban abortion going to do about this? Will these abortion laws go the same route as the Prohibition law?
The question is moot as no state will impose a complete ban on abortion.

That's weed, not abortion pills. Their are international companies already set up to ship them behind the ChristoMAGA curtain.

It is weed and not abortion pills.

People in Red States will get abortion pills with no issue.

Cocaine is illegal in 50 states. One can get cocaine in all 50 states.

All abortions in Alabama are illegal accept when the life of the mother is in danger. No exceptions for rape or incest, and the way the law is written a mother will have to be in immediate danger in order to get an abortion. There is no doubt many women will die due to this law. I expect many abortion pills will be hidden away by Alabama women.

Alabama is one of worst states for women In area which most affect women’s lives: political participation, employment and earnings, work and family, poverty and opportunity, reproductive rights and health and well-being. It wasn't till 1953, that the Alabama legislature approve the vote for women. The Alabama abortion law was passed by an all white all male legislature. Today the Alabama legislature has one of the lowest participation rates by women. Women voter participation rate is one of the lowest in nation at 47. Who ever said women should be barefoot, pregnant and in kitchen must have come from Alabama.

The people of each state will determine their own policy on the issue. That's the way it should be.

That is great news. Glad to see Alabama is protecting life.

Women should decide on abortion. It is they who are affected most not men In the Supreme Court 4 men and 1 women overturned Roe. In most state that banned abortion, men made the decision. In Alabama, the state with the most restrictive ban, no women was allowed to vote on the abortion law. In the state of Texas only 35% of women supported the ban. As you look at polls across country in states that banned abortion the support is strongest among men, not women. One poll showed that republican women were divide equally on support for overturning Roe.

The hysteria on the left regarding RvW seems to overcome logical reasoning. For some reason the pro-abortion faction doesn't seem to trust the democratic process. Voters will be able to determine all the issues regarding the abortion issue. Trust the democrat process and deal with it.

You do not understand privacy rights. Tyranny through the democratic process is still tyranny. Roe vs Wade was about protecting women's personal rights against big government and government tyranny.

In Alabama, even Republican female lawmakers spoke out against the law. Pregnancy has become very dangerous for women. If something goes wrong then they could suffer severed health consequences. The horror stories are piling up. A woman who bled for 10 hours. A woman forced to carry a dead fetus for 2 weeks. Women are going to die because they can't get a abortion.

Even in states that have exceptions if a mother's life is in danger, you have to deal with state bureaucrats. This can be a clunky process and what happens if a mother is in labor and her life is in danger. Will a doctor risk being criminally charged or will he let her die? This is a rare case however it can and likely will happen at some point.

there's nothing they can do ...its a private issue and anything they would do is a violation of their rights ... so there is no way of them knowing ...

The problem with "the danger to life of the mother" phase is that it is legal language not medical. It forces a doctor to make a legal not a medical decision. For example a pregnant woman has very high blood pressure which increases the risk of the pregnancy and medications are not helping much so he tries other alternatives and still no help. What does he do? Is the pregnancy a serious danger to the mother? maybe and maybe not. Without the law, he would probably recommend an abortion to guarantee the safety of the mother. However with the law, he protects himself and doesn't terminate the pregnancy and the women has a stroke and dies.

I spoke to a friend who is on the staff of a local hospital and asked his opinion. He said there would be a staff meeting that concluded that more testing is needed and the women should be closely monitor. So either the woman dies, has her baby, or the hospital feels legally safe in doing an abortion. But no matter how it works out, the hospital does tens of thousands of dollars of additional billing.

One can buy regular weed online if one lives in area where weed legal, but it will not be shipped if you live where weed is illegal.
colorado was the first state to legalize weed Currently, cannabis sales in Colorado must take place in properly licensed Colorado dispensaries. While you may find businesses (like delivery services) advertising alternative methods of purchasing cannabis, you should approach these opportunities with caution. Many are not legally compliant and can result in trouble for both you and the business operators. in other words, you can't order by mail and you can't have it delivered legally ... you can get arrested
