I was wondering how can Trump spin the narrative of his totally failed virus response when the US is set to become the hardest hit country with the most cases and deaths in the whole world, AND Trump repeatedly downplayed the threat of the virus claiming it was nothing etc etc. We all saw and heard trump down play this virus repeatedly in the beginning. Also reports are coming out, and will continue to come out, that Trump ignored all the flashing warning signs in the early days.
How can Trump spin this so his loyal sheep will still blindly support him, and not admit to any fault or blame for Trump's failed virus response? here's how:
"The virus will kill 100-200k or more"
That is a large amount of deaths. If he has under 100k deaths, trump, Foxnews, and his loyal sheep will declare victory, if they still get 100k+ deaths they will say that is inline with the models, if they get more, then it's back to the drawing board with a new manipulation.
HERE IT IS:
“So you’re talking about 2.2 million deaths, 2.2 million people from this. And so if we could hold that down, as we’re saying, to 100,000. It’s a horrible number, maybe even less —but to 100,000. So we have between 100 and 200,000, and we altogether have done a very good job.”
