Much of what he proposes will require an act of Congress and will likely face judicial scrutiny for it's constitutionality. Personally, I don't believe Trump can arbitrarily dictate the price of imported goods and materials other than raising the price via a tariff. I don't believe he can require foreign companies to absorb the cost of a tariff that he imposes rather than passing it on to US companies and consumers.

Link? Presidents can threaten this and that, but he cannot control prices except possibly if he declares a national emergency. Which does not exist at the moment.

Can anybody show when Biden did something like this? I didn't vote for him and I didn't like what he did as president but I highly doubt he actually set prices on imported goods and materials. Or anything else for that matter. Presidents can promise to do anything to get votes, but doing it on his own authority is another matter.
