How to Make Every Day More Interesting, More Fun, More Rewarding

When you keep an eye out for litter on your daily walk, sometimes you are rewarded in an unexpected way.

Last week, it was a Trader Joe's Gift Card worth $50 in the local park's parking lot. I cleaned that up as well.

Speaking ill of your friends brings no sense of well-being for them or you. Doing a kindness benefits you both.

This brings to mind the story of the college history professor who advised the students in his class who struggled with the Founders' prose in the assigned reading to first read the New England Primer of the 17th Century. Paraphrasing: That way you'll learn to read at the elementary school level of that period, and understanding the Founders' prose should be a snap.
