How to end poverty in America.

Wonderful.... helping to put the poor back into slavery.
The poor are just another fact of life on planet earth. Not much can be done to lift them up. But all in all they do pretty well here. Their needs are met and they don't have to work. The working poor also receive welfare benefits. Most of those living on the streets have chosen that.

"Work really hard and you will become wealthy" is a lie we tell people providing them with the false hope they will become rich. That simply isnt true. I think less and less people are buying into this.

Work really hard and you can support yourself and move off welfare. That is an admirable goal, and should be EVERYONE’s.

What is missing from this country is a sense of shame - shame that you have four babies with four different baby daddies who don’t pay in a dime, shame that you are content to stay home and collect welfare rather than get a job, shame that you are spending money on cigarettes and liquor when you take money from responsible people in order to buy food.

Not all poor people are on welfare. Why such a broad brush? The greatest work ethic in the world will not guarantee one moves out of being poor.

Work hard and you'll likely do ok. Most people understand this. However, most anyone can become wealthy if that is what they desire. After all you have a lifetime to accomplish it. It took me 36 years, from age 44 until age 80 to become a millionaire. At age 44 I was flat broke from raising a family, and other reasons. So, it's never too late.

It takes 100 thousand just to break i to the low low middle class. Itrefutable.

Not going to raise a child on 47 thousand. Thats a pittance. Hard to eat and pay rent on that.
That's net worth, not income. Low-income families receive help from several welfare programs. From my pocket to theirs.

Lower middle-class income can be lower or higher than $47K depending on the state one lives in.

Well if they are working and still poor then im ok with providing help. No working american adult should be working hard for $15 per hour to be living in squalor. Not in the worlds most wealthy nation.
