I don't really see things in terms of Rinos and conservatives.

I see it more as business as usual and populists.

Trump is not more CONSERVATIVE, not by a long shot. He is merely a much stronger Nationalist.

Reagan took over the gop, and Slick and the DLC took over the D's from Keynesisan liberals. So, imo, there's nothing wrong with a political insurgency. Lincoln did it! LOL

But the issue is Trumpism. What are his policies. They are for the benefit of Trump. That is why he LOST in 2020. It wasn't really covid, even thought Trump shut down the econ, and that did save thousands of lives, until vaccines became available and we could successfully spread out the rate of infection to keep hospitals from being overwhelmed. But for Trump ... it was about HIM. Bleach, shine lights inside of live bodies ... don't let any blowback from pissed of people land on him.

He would be potus today if he'd just said to his supporters "buckle up" but instead it was .... " a wind will blow it away."

And now he's sold a bunch of "malcontents" on "no compromise." Even the progs are not that juvenile, and the irony is Trump's been "compromising" on his bad loans for FIFTY YEARS. LOL But like Red posted just a few minutes ago .... "only Trump can save them." Pathetic losers.

Zero truth to that. Any Republican president is going to put up a conservative judge if they want them confirmed by a Republican Senate, just like any Democratic president will put up a leftist judge. Bush put John Roberts and Samuel Alito on the court. Bush Sr put Clarence Thomas on the court. If a different Republican had been president it stands to reason they would have nominated similar justices to Trump. The conservative majority did not exclusively rest with Trump and Trump alone.

But you can thank Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski for the three Trump did nominate because without them collectively they would have been toast.

We would have gotten Souters instead of what we got.

TPU is far right organization that essentially exists to worship at the altar of Donald Trump and they have made it their mission to destroy anyone in the Republican Party who does not. Their current target is Arizona Congressman Juan Ciscomani. Ciscomani is the quintessential example of the immigrant success story. He was finally naturalized in 2022 and ran for the newly drawn 6th district that makes up the southeast corner of Arizona and barely squeaked by while the most of the Republican Party in Arizona was getting spanked. He is exactly the type of Republican that can appeal statewide and bring more Hispanic voters into the fold. So, what is TPU's reaction? RINO! Get him out of here! Primary him with a Trump loyalist so the seat can be lost to the Democratic Party!
