In 1954, the Democrats controlled the narrative by showing oppression in the form of a little, Black child able to attend only with the power of the US government to force her acceptance.

They accurately portrayed the evil of the injustice with this photograph

Public opinion was, rightfully, on the side of the little girl (who could be anyone's little girl) against the evil white racists who tried to keep her out of a decent school.

Now, it's 2024, and Democrats are once again trying to control the narrative (and failing spectacularly) by depicting this poor, oppressed, wife-beating gang leader as anyone's little gang-banger against the racism of the current government sending him back to his home in El Salvador.

The Dems have to risk looking bad because this is about the Constitution, not a reportedly shitty individual.

Just like I have to risk looking bad when I support some Alt Right fuckups group's Constitutional rights to protest in public.

There is a larger picture here, and some folks just lack the intellectual elasticity to see it. Or they're just lying.

this is about the Constitution

This really isn't.

Garcia has had his DAYS in court ... he's subject to TWO deportation orders by Federal judges. He's been the subject of bail hearings and grand juries for his alleged crimes of Racketeering Conspiracy (RICO); Cocaine Importation Conspiracy; Possession of Machine Guns;
Conspiracy to Possess Machine Guns.

He's been the subject Restraining Orders protecting his baby and her momma issued by judges.

This guy has received more "due process" than a slice of Kraft cheese.

To the shock of everyone in the educational system it has been discovered that black students do better if their teachers are also black. Is it a stretch to think that this could also be true of all-black schools? If this is true then 'integration' has seriously damaged not only black students but the whole black community, beginning with the earliest integration efforts.

Democrats are simply trying to prevent us from deporting their army of illegals. If it takes 150 years to deport them due to all the legal BS and hoops they demand we jump through then yeah, they will never be deported, MF'ers.

Where was all this concern for due process and the law when virtually every immigration law on the books was being broken and bastardized by Democrats during the 4 year 15 million illegals invasion?

You did manage to leave out the most important part, the part where the dumbshit orange felon fergot what due process was.

So why isn't Trump using this LAW in addition to AEA?

However, IIRAIRA has been criticized as overly punitive "by eliminating due process from the overwhelming majority of removal cases and curtailing equitable relief from removal". A range of critiques have emerged concerning the provisions enacted with IIRAIRA, such as the expansion of aggravated felonies, creation of the 287(g) program, reduction in due process rights, and intensified funding of border militarization. With IIRAIRA, all aliens, regardless of legal status and including long-term legal permanent residents, became subject to removal and greatly expanded the offenses that could lead to formal deportation.

In 1996, President Bill Clinton signed the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (IIRIRA), which did strengthen immigration enforcement. While the IIRIRA did include provisions to increase deportation efforts, it did not specifically mandate that individuals could be deported without judicial hearings. The Act made it more difficult for individuals to avoid deportation, but it did not eliminate the right to a hearing.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:
  • IIRIRA's Purpose:
The IIRIRA aimed to "crack down on illegal immigration at the border, in the workplace, and in the criminal justice system" by strengthening immigration enforcement.

  • Deportation Provisions:
While the Act made it more difficult to avoid deportation, it didn't eliminate the right to a hearing.

  • Judicial Hearings:
Individuals facing deportation still had the opportunity to present their case to an immigration judge.

  • Criticism:
Some critics argued that the IIRIRA was too harsh and would lead to mass deportations without due process.

  • Ongoing Debates:
The debate over immigration enforcement and the rights of immigrants continues today.

OK, Remain in Mexico says that you get a hearing date and get deported to Mexico to wait for your hearing.
