How much do extremely wealthy people owe to the society that gave them the chance to prosper so much?

Interesting take. At 18 years old, what's your education?

There is more to being educated than just having a certificate. There are people with degrees that I would call uneducated.

What I need from rich people right now is for them to prove to me this election result, which ultimately only benefits them, was fair and lawful.

Americans have 400 million guns. How do you think the government will deal with that?

They'll probably bomb you the moment you become organized enough to be targeted.

As John Stuart Mill wisely observed:

"Even what a person has produced by his individual toil, unaided by any one, he cannot keep, unless by the permission of society. Not only can society take it from him, but individuals could and would take it from him, if society only remained passive; if it did not either interfere en masse, or employ and pay people for the purpose of preventing him from being disturbed in the possession. The distribution of wealth, therefore, depends on the laws and customs of society. The rules by which it is determined, are what the opinions and feelings of the ruling portion of the community make them, and are very different in different ages and countries; and might be still more different, if mankind so chose."

So they are going to kill thousands of innocent people in order to kill me?

If you're actually a threat to their power they'll go to any length to kill you. How organized do you expect to be able to get? You're delusional. You can't beat the government.

I hear anecdotal stories but I have yet to met a teacher or known a teacher that has done this.

If you want an anecdote from inside your own experiences you're going to have to go out and meet these people.

Several of the teachers said they don't buy supplies for the kids and others do. I know budgets are tight and money is tight but we spend more per child on education than most if not all countries and our results are average at best. So, the issue isn't the money, there are other issues, maybe government and or parents, which money won't fix.

So society is entitled to take your stuff because it can?

That's called "the law of the jungle." That's what passes for morality among leftists.

We waste a lot of time and energy on standardized tests. Maybe there's money to be saved there somehow.

If you'll notice, it is talking about if the society or government were not to interfere with the natural order. That isn't to say that should do so. It is a reminder that if society protects what you own, you own that society something in return. And indeed more than those whom society helped you exploit for that gain.
