US culture is hard to define because by it's nature it's supposed to be broad and flexible.

It's not like French Culture, or Japanese culture that reflects a more homogenized basis.

it also isn't supposed to be monolithic, vestiges of a person's ethnic background can still be part of one's American Culture.

I can celebrate Saint Patrick's day as an American, just like an Indian can celebrate Indian Independence day as an American.
