How many of you idiots believe Walker wants doctors to lie to women that might seek abortions?

Then someone tell us,

if it was not the purpose of the bill to allow medical professionals to withhold fetal medical information from a patient without fear of liability,

what WAS the purpose of the bill?

Surely the bill had a purpose.

Given that W scared the crap out of the "all abortion all the time for any reason" crowd, yet did nothing to outlaw it, what makes you think Walker would or even could? I mean, it's not like the President can just create new laws or alter existing ones by himself, can he.....? Oh, never mind. I guess it's not so cool when you think about a DIFFERENT president doing it, huh?

Walker wants all abortion outlawed.

Let's review the text of the actual bill Walker wanted passed:

This bill creates an immunity from a wrongful birth or wrongful life action for a person who commits an act or fails to commit an act and that act or omission results in the birth of a child because a woman did not undergo an abortion that she would have undergone had the person not committed the act or not failed to commit the act.

In plain English, the bill would extend immunity from liability to a doctor who failed to inform a woman of a condition in the fetus that had she known of would have compelled her to have an abortion.

Yes, that would allow a doctor to lie.

Or it doesn't allow someone to sue for something a doctor missed, which does happen from time to time.

Nothing about willful not committing an act, or failing to commit and act.

And you think he'll pull an Obama and write new laws to bring that about?

there was time way back when this Democrat party did such a thing. As we see, that flew out their ass, along with any, honor, pride, morals, manners, civility, etc

What do you think the word 'omission' means?

Isn't always the anti-choicers who demand waiting periods and mandatory consultations and mandatory viewing of sonograms and all sorts of such shit -

all on the pretense that a woman should be well INFORMED?

Put the shoe on the other foot and suddenly hiding INFORMATION from the woman becomes their cause.

Unbe-fucking-lievable.

I think your memory is playing tricks on you. Andrew Jackson founded the party on a platform of ethnic cleansing and it has yet to rise above its origins. I agree with the left that the GOP is a party of sleazebags but then they were tutored by the real experts, the Ds.

the omission is the for the opposite of "act", not a verbal omission.

Post here so we can all mock your ignornace.

PS mods. This thread is only trolling if you're dumb enough to believe the leftwing headlines about Walker. To the rest of US it is a great barometer of who on this site is worth debating on any RATIONAL subject.
I would say all liberals believe it.

Are you pretending that the act of informing someone of a condition is not an act?

lol

And you are pretending this law says something it doesn't to make a political point. LOL.
