How many of you Biden supporters that said the ban on Oil exploration by Biden didn't have an affect on prices???

Russia Russia is horse shit.

It is what EmperorShitzHizPantz and his globalist minions are doing to force us into The Great Reset and Globalism that is causing all of this.

Russia has zero to do with it as just 2 years ago we were energy independent and as soon as Fraud Joe was thrust in to power illegitimately he started attacking our supply chain and our energy sector.

No we were not energy independent. We produced more than we consumed but we still imported oil. Why has the oil industry not reopened the oil rigs that were closed due to the pandemic.

So Biden's ban according to experts...
The canceled lease sales signal headwinds for the domestic energy industry and could dissuade investors from putting their money into the sector, Frank Macchiarola, senior vice president of industry trade group American Petroleum Institute, told CBS MoneyWatch.

"If you line up the series of [Biden Administration] policies, not one will have the effect of too sharply raising gas prices in the short term, but they all create in their totality an environment in which investors say, 'I'm not going to invest in this industry because of the headwinds,'" he said. "Over the medium and long term, that has a terribly detrimental effect on price volatility."

But dummies don't understand that gas price analysts don't look at today's supply of gas!
They look at the future and the future looks glum for oil refineries...
Remember Biden is in favor of ending oil industry, as he said:
Biden: “I Guarantee You, We’re Going To End Fossil Fuel!

Adding this inane quote to Bidenisms - Racism, ignorance, lies and incompetence

By the same measure the Trumpublicans were all yelping about it, yeah we were. We haven't been oil independent for over 60 years of course. I believe a lot of the production wells have to be re-drilled.

  • By November 2021, The Biden Administration Had Already Approved More Oil And Gas Drilling Permits Than The Trump Administration Did Annually For Three Years. The Biden Administration Approved More Oil And Gas Drilling Permits In Ten Months Than The Trump Administration Approved Annually For Three Years. “The Biden administration has approved more oil and gas drilling permits on public lands per month than the Trump administration did during the first three years of Donald Trump’s presidency, according to an analysis shared exclusively with The Climate 202.” [Washington Post, 12/06/21]

Oil companies are keeping oil supplies low to keep prices high. Their financial statements show they are making huge profits. There should be a windfall profits tax on oil companies. There should be one placed on all companies that are using inflation as a excuse to raise their prices.

You're saying the oil companies are conspiring to keep the prices high to make huge profits.

They could have done that during Trump, and yet they haven't done it. Why not?

Obviously, you have never read the book. First, it was a book written against Totalitarianism, not Communism. Although you wrongly believe the book used the Soviet Union as it's model, Orwell incorporated Francisco Franco's Spain in as well. More Fascism than anything else.

The Totalitarian government in 1984 was kept in place by psychological manipulation, physical control, the control of information and history, technology, language, and the lack of identity for the populous. Take a look in the mirror. Trump and the Republican party are experts at psychological manipulation. They extort fear, seek to capitalize on divisions. Take the whole "replacement theory" bullshit. See how they use language? No one is being replaced. Or the use of "woke". "Woke" is not a bad thing, it means enlightenment--this nation was born during the Enlightenment age, are we going to call it the Age of Wokeness?

Republican's control in information through right wing media sites and especially social media harkens to 1984. We are more energy independent now than at anytime in the Trump administration, drilling has not stopped on public lands, and three out of four of the dollars added to the economy in the last two years came from the Trump administration. Biden has reduced the deficit, and will make an even greater dent in it this year. Will you find that on those right wing sites--no, controlling information.

Republicans want to control women's bodies, and they want to control your identity with national ID cards, the same held true in 1984. They want to tell people who they can marry and who they can't. Did you know that Winston Smith didn't even know if he was married or not? They want to control who comes in the country, who can vote--again, themes that ran through 1984.

The reality is you are a stunning representation of the results of the very psychological manipulation that was the major underlying theme of 1984. And the job of Winston is to let you know that. Although I realize it is a waste of time. In your world, 2 + 2 = 5.

Winston: Obviously you didn't read the book, kaz. It makes perfect sense for me to pick the guy who loves and adores government like Winston. I love Government! Like Winston! Of course I do, that's why I'm a Democrat! So I picked the guy in 1984 who LOVED government .. like I do! Winston!

Butt head ...

You clearly either didn't read the book or you completely didn't understand it. Sheesh

Why do you bother responding to complete nonsense?
You are wasting everybody's time and encouraging it to reply, which will waste more time.
"It takes an order of magnitude more effort to refute bullshit than was required to produce it."- Brandolini's Theorem
instead of getting your panties in a bunch, look at the facts.
USA was a total energy exporter in 2019 & 2020

No we were not energy independent. We produced more than we consumed but we still imported oil. Why has the oil industry not reopened the oil rigs that were closed due to the pandemic.

You are one dumb slut.

That we produced more than we used IS THE DEFINITION of energy independence.

What a stupid dyke you are that you don't grasp oil is a commodity and it's stupid to ship it around the world rather than minimizing transportation costs.

You don't even understand what I just said, do you? Be honest

You are so stupid. You have been manipulated into believing that Democrats love government, as if Republicans are somehow averse to the government. You got no problem with "big government" telling women what they can do with their body. You got no problem with "big government" telling local governments what laws and regulations they can pass. You got no problem with "big government" canceling agreements and unilaterally withdrawing from contracts. No problem with "big government" maintaining a standing army and spending enormous amounts of revenue on bigger and badder weapons. You got know problem with "big government" telling people who can vote and who can't vote. No problem with "big government" controlling who comes into the country or deciding who can be a citizen. No problem with big government setting quotas and restrictions on people of a particular race or from a particular place. No problem with "big government" enabling oligopolies, selling off the public lands, and granting tax subsidies and credits to "big corporations".

Nope, I read the book. I understand the themes. And the book was directed precisely at idiots like you. Too bad you got your head so far up ass that you can't see how the right wing manipulates you. Big government, just another use of "language" to manipulate the ignorant. Like Socialism, dozens of industries and services are "socialist". Law enforcement, fire departments, public hospitals. Wheat, cranberries, eggs, chicken, literally hundeds of "co-ops", socialist by design. Public water, public sewer, and the interstate. All "socialist" institutions. God but you people are Helluva stupid.

And Winston parrots back to me yet again what I said to you, LOL.

You said Orwell wasn't talking about Communism. You're a stupid fuck, Oh My God ...

Just FYI, Orwell was a communist but he felt it was going the wrong direction. 1984 was directly about Communism, space cadet ..

You make no sense. The facts are we weren't "oil independent" you dummy!
We were "energy independent" and if you can READ follow this and the links.
There were 7 months of energy independence! But keep it up with your stupid uninformed
comments as you are continuing to show the deficiencies of people like you!
The definition of "energy independence"...
In 2019, as was the case in March, the U.S. produced slightly more energy than it consumed.
Specifically, Americans used about 100.2 quadrillion Btu of energy and produced about 101 quadrillion Btu.
Broken down by month, there were seven months in 2019 where energy production outpaced energy consumption.

And this hadn't happened since 1957!

Plus what is YOUR expertise regarding "re-drilling" wells? "You believe"????

You expect a industry mouthpiece to tell the truth. That is the official propaganda. The Dallas Fed survey of OIL OFFICIALS shows that investors are the reason for not increasing drilling, not politicians. By a 59% to 7% margin. The oil industry is constraining supply to keep prices high. He is arguing for higher prices that are close to where they are today. Apparently you also support higher prices.

Today's prices do not look at the future. The spot markets and monthly contracts are not long term. They focus on the short term.
Where are your facts? ZERO your opinion.
Now the FACTS are the people who set the prices for the oil companies that refine oil, who in turn set the price for the companies that re-sell the gas to the public. These are separate groups EACH adding to the price as THEIR costs have increased. Starting with the barrel of oil pumped out of the ground.
I know this is very simple but how do the workers get to the drilling equipment, do they ride horses, walk, etc.
NO you dummy they drive. The most drive trucks and most Trucks use DIESEL and what is the price of DIESEL?
Today $5.120/gallon May 2020===== $2.392 or 114% increase in their costs to drive to the site!
That is just ONE of hundreds of prices that have gone up since Biden took office!

Look stupid shit, I have a minor is English Lit. I studied under Doris Betts. And good God Almighty Orwell was no communist. He actually went to fight in the Spanish Civil War, "to fight Fascism and defend Democracy". Francisco's government was authoritarian FROM THE RIGHT. Orwell was a Socialist Democrat, think Bernie Sanders. His first novel was "Down and Out in London and Paris", about living in poverty in those two big cities. I mean do you even know the difference between Communism and Socialism? Here, let me teach you. Communism is a command economy, the central government dictates production. Socialism is a demand economy in which the state owns the means of production. In Communism the state would tell Nike how many shoes to produce. In Socialism, the state would own Nike and let the "free market" determine production. North Dakota has two prime examples. The North Dakota bank, owned by the state. And North Dakota Mill and Elevator, also owned by the state. Alaska another example, owning the oil resources.

Perhaps you are confused, Orwell's "Animal Farm" was about the Soviet Revolution. But 1984 was about totalitarianism.

1984 is a political novel written with the purpose of warning readers in the West of the dangers of totalitarian government.

George Orwell’s novel 1984 inspires people to wonder how it would be if a totalitarian government took over the modern day society

In writing 1984, Orwell's main goal was to warn of the serious danger totalitarianism poses to society

Now ask yourself this, which party leans more toward totalitarianism? When you examine those parties under the lens of the themes within 1984 it is a no-brainer. It is the Republican party of TRUMP. Come on, look at how the party has punished those Republicans that stood against Trump, like Romney and Cheney. Demonizing the press, which is hysterical considering the press that distributes propaganda for the Republican party, like FOX news, is someone immune from this disdain. I mean it is nothing more than controlling the flow of information. Controlling history, a huge part of Winston Smith's job--reversing Roe v. Wade, Heller--both aggressive judicial activism and based on extreme historical revisionism. The litmus test for Republican candidates is not their experience, it is not their positions, it is rather they kiss the ring of the almighty Trump, the very definition of totalitarianism.

So you keep digging. At this point you are looking like a fool. Orwell was a communist, 1984 was about communism. And if you want to double down on stupid, be my guest. But know this, Orwell's wife worked for the Ministry of Information in London. I am quite sure that just flew right over your head.

Well then there you go! Thank you for the FACTS!... So when Biden shuts down federal leasing, reduces by 80% the possible oil exploration, and still we have diesel fuel alone at 104% what it was just 2 years ago...
