No, it was not "2-3 months". It started on 20 March 2003, and depending on how you count it either ended on 9 April 2003 with the fall of Baghdad, or 1 May 2003 when the last Iraqi forces surrendered. But even at the most, it was 1 month, 1 week, and 4 days.
