Her ordeal began when she visited a state Department of Motor Vehicles office in 2005 to get a driver's license. She said she presented her Peruvian passport and her green card, and declined on a form to register to vote.

How is it insane? Do you advocate for open borders, yes or no? It's a simple question.. If your answer is no, then how many illegals should be allowed to cross the border into the US on an annual basis? Should they all be granted citizenship as soon as they enter? If amnesty is given to all the people here illegally right now, do you propose continuing that policy for all that continue to cross and come in, in the future? Does it ever end, or is it your opinion that we can afford to just allow millions to flow in without any end to it?

You sure are inventing a lot of BS to worry about. The US will never have open borders. .. and temporary residency is NOT automatic to US citizenship. The right and prudent thing to do is expand E-Verify and place heavy fines against employers who hire them.. And, issue temporary work visas for foreign workers we need. Do you have a US Passport? Have you ever been thru Customs an Immigration?
