or stop whining about taxes for social services.
I'll "whine" until the U.S. Constitution is properly enforced again and the "social services" are all revoked. If you want them - get the votes you need to amend the constitution. If you can't get the votes (and you can't), then accept the fact that the American people have spoken.
The American people HAVE NOT SPOKEN. 25% of the American voters actually took the trouble to vote. The last time I checked 25% isn't a majority or even close to it. So a small subset of American voters who are united in their ignorance and greed against anyone who has LESS than they do, voted.
The firms that remain, will simply become more efficient at that new wage equilibrium.
Indeed! And that "efficiency" will result in low-wage jobs becoming
no wage jobs. Which will result in more unemployment, which will result in you lefties whining about more social programs, etc. It's the viocus cycle of failed left-wing ideology.
Burger-flipping robot replaces humans on first day at work
In the short run; in the long run, people spending more money will create more demand.
Like I said; we are simply exporting our less efficient, low wage jobs.
We just need to figure out a way to tax robots.
You need to figure out a way for ALL CITIZENS to have meaninful employment which will sustain them without public assistance. Not everyone is meant to be a boss, an entrepreneur or a leader. Some people just need to be able to support themselves and their families and they're prepared to work to do that. Conservatives posters on this forum have no patience or interest in these people. They deserve nothing.
But there are a lot more workers than leaders. They are the people who build the successful businesses for the leaders of the nation. Their blood, sweat and tears is what made American great. These are the people who voted for Trump and who are now discovering that the new Boss is same as the old Boss and they don't matter.
