How do we stop "the poor" from being so problematic?

There are just some jobs that are absolutely not worth any more than seven dollars an hour, like flipping burgers and stocking shelves. Those are beginner/temporary jobs and should be paid as so
I guess small business owners will have to do more for less; thank goodness they are not, all about the money.
Raising the minimum wage on beginner/temporary jobs only hurt small business…
The object and priority are not limited to "small business". People who work for minimum wage more often than not qualify for various taxpayer-funded assistance programs. That means that taxpayers are obligated to subsidize those small businesses and small business owners.
The only reason to start a small business is to make a profit… No one starts a small business just to hire people.
Why complain about a minimum wage; you don't have to hire anyone.
I have to hire seasonal workers every year.

What can and or will be done about it politically?
In keeping with current board rhetoric let's not be scared to get real honest here.
Our poor are our worst parents...they create more of their same.
Our poor suck the most government tit.
Our poor commits the most crime.
Our poor does the most drugs.
Our poor drinks and smokes the most.
Our poor have the most children they can't afford.
Our poor litters and vandalizes the most.
Our poor drives uninsured.
Our poor commits the most animal cruelty.
I could go on and on...and no Libby's, let's not deflect and divert to Wall Street criminals, big corporations..blah, blah, blah...Let's get real, let's get serious about our taxpayer draining bottom feeders....Whatta ya say?
You live in a bubble of delusion, misinformation, and distortion of reality.
Our "poor" are a direct result of socialism/progressivism… Fact
nope; it is conservative policies from the Age of Iron for the poor, and the Age of Corporate welfare for the rich.

No, you don't. Don't be lazy; work harder to maker more.

A fifteen dollar an hour minimum wage competes favorably with the cost of social services.
…And puts small business - out of business. Lol
Capitalism has a Natural Rate of Unemployment. And, those firms can simply move to a, "cheaper" State.
Having a national minimum wage is picking winners and losers… Typical of socialism
false analogy.

Moving the "goal posts" is a function of Government.
Socialism cannot function under its own weight… Fact

As it says in the Bible, you will always have the poor with you. This is confirmed in our laws as poverty is permanently established by law. No matter how wealthy the country may be we will always have poverty.

Conservatives hope to starve them out of existence and Liberals hope to buy them out. However, as confirmed in law and the Bible, we always have them with us.

yep, i do - and the workers are grateful for it.

We just need to figure out a way to tax robots.
And there you have it ladies and gentlemen...the left-wing ideology perfectly summed up!
Only fools and horses should have to work and be taxed?
It's never enough for you people. Now you want to tax even inanimate objects. You have to - it's the only way to extend your failed ideology. Hey, I know, here are a few more ideas for you...
  • Students use pencils - be sure to tax the pencils (don't forget the erasers as well!)
  • Why should your dog get a free pass? They enjoy public parks too! Tax the shit out of 'em!
  • Lawnmowers take jobs away. Think how many more people it would take to cut the grass by hand with scissors. Tax those lawnmowers!
  • Mirrors show the reflection of the person being taxed. If you're going to tax me, you must tax my reflection as well!
  • Sex is "labor". Somebody has to hop up and down on somebody else. Why should sex be tax free? Tax it baby!
  • Watches. They work around the clock to keep track of time. That work should be taxed.
  • Vocal cords are involved in endless labor to emit sounds for communicating business ideas, strategies, agreements, etc. Tax the beegeezus out of those vocal cords!

Entitlement programs are pragmatic policies that must be implemented to adhere to Article 1 Sec 8 Claus 1 of the Constitution.
Article 1, Section 8, clause 1 strictly applies to the 18 enumerated powers only. It is not a power in itself. Sorry...not sorry.

True, but it is not up to the successful to give free rides…

People who work for minimum wage more often than not qualify for various taxpayer-funded assistance programs. That means that taxpayers are obligated to subsidize those small businesses and small business owners.
The simple solution to that is to end the illegal and unconstitutional "assistance programs". Problem solved!

The federal government is the most inefficient of things… Why enable the abuse?

right wing fantasy, like usual?

But who would pay for the extermination facilities?

Costly infrastructure is costly.

What is the alternative?

Moving the "goal posts" is a function of Government.
No it's not. It's criminal that you literally have no idea what the function of government is.
Yes, it is. You only have fallacy for your Cause.

Increasing the minimum wage to fifteen dollars an hour, is moving the goal posts.
