It's hard to look to a hopeful future when you're worn out by age 20.

Most are still living at home with their single parent.

Think back to what you was doing at 20 years of age and compare.

I had a full time job, shared an old house a bunch of us rented (think Animal House) and was hunting, fishing, wrenching on my Jeep, and chasing skirt.....I could have cared less about politics because for good or bad they were not largely insane back then.

I bet if you took most of the dem members of the US House and subjected them to the mental evaluations of the 70s half would be committed.

When you drop out of college and then decide to take up a trade, whatever influence was made usually doesn't occur in English Comp, College Algebra, Physical Science, or American History. Not much discussion of modern politics anywhere in those classes.

I was a school administrator and teacher for 21 years. I have handled numerous similar situations such as this, and I am trained in and had to follow laws regarding juveniles. What is your experience, there Skippy?

Well I had a feeling that's what you were referring to when another poster was talking about physically intervening when it comes to a public threat. Whether it's a bystander, whether it's a trained professional doesn't make a difference but there should have been a lot more done on both July 13th 2024 (even though thank God Trump survived but still)and September 10th 2025. Especially for both of those days there were warning signs everywhere.
