How did Trump's economy compare to Obama's? Obama inherited an economy in recession. Trump inherited a growing economy
- In the 3 years before COVID the U.S. economy under Trump performed about the same as it had during the last three years under President Obama.
- GDP growth last 3 years Obama 2.5%, first 3 years Trump 2.6%
- new jobs Trump 6.6 million, Obama 8.1 million
- Trump did obtain a 3.5% unemployment rate before COVID but Obama had a larger reduction in his last 3 years
- The last three years of the Obama administration, median income grew by 8.4%, a slightly faster pace than during Trump’s first three years
- Trump's stock market gain of 14% first 3 years is double Obama's growth the last 3 years. We will give Trump that one
- budget deficit was larger under Trump in his first three years — about $2.5 trillion — compared with $1.6 trillion under Obama in his last three years,

Before Pandemic Trump's economy health was close to the same as Obama's last 3 years. Trump talked a bigger game than he produced.

Then you throw in the Pandemic that would hurt the economy of any President. But Trump's FAIL in handling the pandemic resulted in a greater negative effect on the economy.
.....you people are super dumb---the economy is down because of the pandemic
Because Trump was unable and unwilling to manage the pandemic, resulting in a major hit to the great economy that President Obama left him with. The pandemic and the economic downturn all sit in Trump's lap. Bigly!!!
hahhahahahahahah--it's so easy to prove you people wrong----there are a LOT of countries with pandemic problems--a lot with HIGHER death rates.......they've ALSO have shut their economies down --DUH

In 2019 we had 2.3% growth. Trumps trade war with China slowed growth
so you LIKED China fking over the US?????!!!!!!!!! that was GOOD????!!!!
Let’s say trump went to war with China over it. If I objected to the war would that mean I like the way China was fucking us? No. Trump started a trade war, didn’t win it, but got a couple minor changes that allowed him to claim victory. Just like the little wall he built on the Mexican border.

There's no way you can put Obama anywhere near Trump concerning our economy. It's just a shame Trump didn't get his second term. He would have probably been the best economic President ever. He's almost there with only one term.

Now....about Trump's economic miracle....

"He created perhaps the greatest economy in U.S. history before COVID-19. And now he's doing it again!
Who's gonna vote against that?
Remember the brilliant wisdom of Democratic strategist James Carville: "It's the economy, stupid."

The first time, Trump had to rebuild former President Obama and former Vice President Joe Biden's disastrous economy. Obama and Biden were even worse when it came to jobs. It took them four years to get unemployment below 8%. But after the start of the disastrous COVID-19 pandemic, when unemployment hit 14%, it took Trump only five months to get unemployment back under 8%.

Let's go back to GDP. Because economic growth is what really matters. That's how you create jobs. That's how you make Americans feel "better off." The Atlanta Fed is projecting the third-quarter GDP number released on Oct. 29 will be 34.6%. That would be the fastest quarterly economic growth in history. Even if the projection is high, even if the number comes in at 30%, or 27%, or 25%, it would still be the highest in America's history, by a wide margin.

But wait; it gets better. Trump achieved this miracle with a large portion of the country closed for business. Trump did it with deep-blue states such as California, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Illinois and Michigan mostly locked down and closed for business for most of the quarter.

What if all those states had been open for business?

But it gets better. On Friday, the government announced U.S. core retail sales were up a stunning 9.1% year to year -- the greatest rise in America's history. Again, this happened while a dozen blue states were still mostly shut down. They didn't even have indoor dining in California and most of New York City in September.

Optimism of small-business owners climbed to an all-time high in September. Even more significant, the National Federation of Independent Business optimism index October reading of 204 points was the highest since January. That means small-business owners are the most excited and optimistic they've been since before the pandemic.
By the way, economists predicted this small-business optimism index would rise to between 99 and 102 in September. Instead, it doubled to 204, ..."

Trump Is on His Way to Victory -- Because of the Trump Miracle Economy

Of course, President Donald Trump is headed for another election victory on Nov. 3. Why should anyone be shocked? Trump is proving once again why he's the GOAT (the greatest

No doubt Trump will go down as the worst President, ever. He will be compared to Joseph McCarthy, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg , Benedict Arnold
Just for your information, they weren't Presidents.
They were American traitors. Trump will be known as a Traitor more than a President.
That will be the predominant opinion among jerkoffs.
The jerkoffs have controll of the Presidency, the Senate and the House. Sedionists like you are being rounded up and arrested. The Republican party is trying to rid itself of the stench of Trumpism.

The RWNJs will dispute everything you posted, but will have only the twice impeached president trump's bullsh!t as their "proof".

(Only a weasel would throw the insurgents he sent to the Capitol to attempt his coup, under the bus by blaming them for everything, AND saying they should be severely punished.)

.
Only an idiot would see what happened to Michael Cohen then go work for trump and go along with his lawbreaking. That’s why everyone on the call with Ukraine freaked out. If later that came out trume would throw all of them under the bus for being on the call

Apples and oranges

We were just coming out of a recession when Obama took over.

We were doing fairly well under Trump until the pandemic hit.
The US decided to shut down the economy, guess what happened?
Trump inherited a growing economy. Obama inherited a declining economy.
The growing economy under Obama was from the fed reserve, which was the whole point, dude.
The fed did same under trump, you just ignore it
