Here is a thought experiment for you. Maybe it might jar something loose.
Let’s assume you get the civil war you so desperately want.
It is not going to be like a video game. You die or get mamied there is no reset button. Have you ever shot anything. Do you know what it takes to kill something or someone? Do you see this as a war where everyone is only shooting at each other with guns or are you somehow getting tanks and planes involved? Which side gets most of the weapons? What is to say that there are not those from the other side that have access to nuclear weapons and decide to use them? Imagine the war lasts long enough devastate the population of the country. What keeps Russia or China from deciding to make U.S. a member of their country?
Imagine that somehow your side wins. Now what? Everyone just stops and everyone sits around singing and holding hands? Do you round up people and put them into death camps? Do you develop some sort of loyalty test to tell who is really on your side? Do you divide up the country and give half to the other side? If so which states do you give up? What happens if people on your side don’t want to give up the state they love?
War has consequences it is not about participation trophies

That implies that it's a good thing, or something that we shouldn't be opposed to. That's BS. Again, just because something is predicted in the scriptures doesn't mean it's a good thing or something we should embrace. By that logic, you should embrace the New World Order (Beast system) because it's "necessary" to happen before Jesus returns. That is absurd.

I don't think people hate Catholics. From what I've seen anyway. The RCC itself is hated by some, but it's not without any reason. That's getting off topic though and not a discussion I want to get into today. I was just about to sign off here.

It's not a question of 'want'. It's a question of 'when'.

War does have consequences. When war starts, the first order is to make sure you win. None of your questions matter after that.

I'm one of the few people in the world who knows where exactly the Catholic Church is today, namely inside its remnant members' hearts and souls. The Vatican is not the location anymore, but since no one on this forum seems to know that except yours truly, I guess I must be the one who is wrong (so goes herd mentality logic)

It came across as a very general statement. The reality is, MOST wars are started based on lies, especially in today's world. You don't seem to have a problem with war, which leads me to believe you're one of those who believes government / MSM lies, put out there by the very powers behind those wars based on lies.

And you also pointed to something Jesus said in that Matthew verse, which almost sounded like you were implying it's a good thing. My point was sound. Just because something is predicted in the bible doesn't automatically make it a good thing or something we should embrace.

I knew that that was your position...you've stated it before. I've heard that view. If I'm not mistaken, Mel Gibson has that or a similar view.

My Mom is Catholic (well, was...she doesn't go to Catholic church anymore, she now goes to a non-denominational Christian church) and for part of my childhood my Mom took my sisters and I to Catholic church, and I went through all of it, first communion, confirmation, etc. (My dad was a hardcore atheist so of course he never went and religion was never discussed in our home.)

Respectfully, I just disagree with you on Catholicism overall, but I really, really don't want to argue about it. Maybe another time.
