As for war, just because it is a fact of life in this fallen world doesn't mean we have to be so quick to engage in it. Most wars these days are started based on lies and deceit.

You're reminding me of folks who justify unnecessarily killing animals just because it's something that has been going on for a long time. That's a logical fallacy....appeal to tradition.

Hate isn't necessary to fight a war. Not like I'm a hundred percent certain that we need one now, but soldiers fight with love not hate. Love for their country and for the flag.

Because humans are both good and evil. Conflict brings out the hatred and evil in the aggressor. Good people defend themselves with efficient combat and killing. That's not hate that is self preservation.

I already answered you twice that I believe the bible. So why would you ask if I believe in the Matthew verse? Of course I believe it. Of course there are going to be more wars, before the end comes. The bible also talks about the coming one world government... the beast system. Just because the bible prophesies something doesn't automatically make it a good thing, or something we should embrace. I mean, that is so Captain Obvious I feel silly even having to state that.

Don't misunderstand... I wasn't trying to get into a debate about animal rights. LOL. I was merely drawing a comparison between what he seems to be saying about war, and what meat-eaters say about killing animals. That's all.

That is not what I said. I said hate leads to war. In America we like our veterans because they were willing to put their lives in the line of fire for our country. I'd say, as would most patriotic folks, that American veterans are generally good.
