How Did Things Get So Bad In Our Country?

There is nothing in the Commandments about females making each other feel good. Consider a king's harem: how can a 100 concubines be satisfied by one King?

As for Juries, there is a Bible Story about this: It is labeled as Susanna & Daniel.
But, most Bibles have removed this very important Story of how Susanna was convicted and on her way to being stoned, when Daniel intervened; Properly examined the evidence and convicted the witnesses who got stoned instead.

Politicians do not want folks knowing this story, because, all of USA's wars were basically frauds for politicians and profiteers making big Bucks off the suffering of war.
In fact, the only people who should be able to choose war, are those who are to suffer and die in the war.
why should Bibles remove it?

The Churches are largely responsible for how things have deteriorated in the US.

When I say Churches, I used the term loosely because there is only ONE True Church.. but all the non-Catholics attack the true one and are often so busy doing that they don't have time to do things that would make the nation a better place, a more Christian place. Who cares if Catholics honor Mary? How is that hurting Protestants?

And yet children being murdered is definitely hurting someone, and not just the child. Women who abort have a lifetime of guilt to live with. And if you have too much guilt, you don't always believe God has forgiven you and THAT is a huge problem. If you think you're going to Hell no matter what, well, you just slide into more and more sin until you actually end up there..

So Protestants need to stop attacking Catholics and start attacking the real evildoers in society.
My church is true and if it wasnt for Jews you wouldnt have a church or a God

Well, people think that Christians like me shouldn't feel that way, but I agree, assuming the person is guilty and has been found to be guilty unanimously by a jury. Juries do get things wrong.. One word: OJ so maybe a one time killer should not get the death penalty? I don't know. I'd have to think about it but cop killers and serial killers should get it and also assassins since they adversely affect all of society when they kill someone like Kirk who was trying to make it better. The thing is, I don't always trust the legal system and have often distrusted juries.. So I think we should be careful in who gets executed.

OJ proves you can't trust juries

Actually, OJ proves why we shouldn't have a death penalty

Even though his murders were gruesome, the DA took the Death Penalty off the table almost immediately. Why? Because Simpson was rich, he was famous, and he was a well-loved celebrity (which is probably what got him ultimately acquitted.)

Simpson also had the advantage that he had (at that time) almost unlimited resources to hire lawyers.

If we have one law for the rich and another for the poor, then we don't have justice.

No, the problem is you've mistaken your bigotries, religious biases, and sexual insecurities for "evil". And you want to impose that on everyone else.

Let's take the obvious example. Homosexuality. You think that gay sex is evil. But if I were to press you on why you think it's evil, your argument would be 'God says it is," and if you were being remotely honest, "I think it's icky!"

Me, I don't see it as evil. I just see it as different. Different strokes for different folks.

there's a bunch of stuff in the Bible that God said was evil that we don't consider evil, like eating shellfish. There's stuff in the bible that God said was okay, like slavery, that we have decided was unacceptable. God didn't change his mind, we changed ours.

In 50 years, all the Churches will be performing gay weddings and trying to pretend they had nothing to do with the homophobia.

Just like 50 years ago, many of the Churches supported segregation.

I happen to be in an interracial marriage. (I'm white, my wife is Asian.) 60 years ago, that would have been illegal in much of the country, with the Churches saying this was good and moral.
in Berlin there was a wedding of 4 men ....
