How About We Elect Our Presidents By Popular Vote?

Not talking about eliminating the Electoral College here necessarily. Just bypassing it for the Presidential races. This is an initiative that's proven popular and non-partisan. Why do we still tolerate them only having to campaign in a few "swing" states?

Listen to a great discussion by clicking the play button at the bottom here:
Time to start your initiative for a constitutional amendment.

It would take a Constitutional Amendment to do away with the Electoral College entirely. There's no voting for cities or States here. This initiative is about making everyone's vote count for President. One man, one vote.
I have no interesting in making the vote of imbeciles count.

Seems many on the right here think they shouldn't have to be bothered with convincing urban folk to vote for their causes and candidates because they live closer together. A snobbish sort of loser approach to winning elections.
We have moved massively left with the "urban folk" the last half century especially. If it is not fast enough for you I will tell you how all of this ends. ..Death,, carnage, destruction, slave labor, and potentially a world war where the earth becomes a cinder.

Not in the cities they don't. With the Democrat party being the ONLY ruling party within these ghetto trash war zones you would think their party machines would want to force their agenda on the rest of the country, dumbass.
The entire country elects them. Only three presidents have won without also winning the popular vote. It is possible 95% of the time. You just need to have ideas that appeal more broadly. That is the objective reality.

"How About We Elect Our Presidents By Popular Vote?"

The only reason why conservatives oppose this is because at some point in the near future the only way a Republican will be elected president is via the Electoral College, having lost the popular vote.
and that is the biggest reason to have the EC,, cant have a single party rule
