At one time in the past I would have said that is fair. However, in today's reality where we know that news outlets like the ones you have described are unashamed in their bias. In fact, some of those wear it as a badge of honor...The expansion of alternative media has allowed more competing outlets to have a space in reporting news...Gone are the days of having to accept what Walter Cronkite says...Then finding out later that the narratives that were given were wrong, or in worst case covering up for the existing administration at the time....

With that said, I do understand what you are saying about being skeptical of these new sources...Some of them are like "woah, really?" but, in this new age it is incumbent for rational people to gather their news, and form their opinions from wide varities of outlets, and yes even some of the whacky ones to see what in them matches up with other widely reported stories and those things can be considered.

You'd probably be surprised to learn that much of where you source your material, I also read, listen to, and consider, along with the more conservative sources to form what I believe is BS, and what isn't...It's getting harder and harder to cut through the narratives, and find the actual news these days, but not impossible.

So, I guess I am saying that just because you don't believe the same things as your opponents in here, doesn't mean that they can be instantly dismissed as whatever insulting way you can think of to dismiss them...If you are using critical thinking at all, you would venture outside your own bias confirmation, and search for the truth...it's hard to do, I know...But we all try...
