Yes. Matt Gaetz has been such a bulldog re the Biden Administration no doubt they hoped to get him for something but the Biden/Harris DOJ failed to do so. Given what the presumed allegations are the House did the right thing probably in doing an ethics investigation but those are used to censure or remove members from the House of Representatives. Did they find anything to justify that? I seriously doubt it but they may have found things that would be embarrassing to Gaetz and/or others if they are plastered all over the media. Something they obviously felt he didn't deserve.
I defy any one of us, probably any person on Earth who has become a teenager or adult, who can say he/she has never done anything that wouldn't look good on the evening news or in a newspaper headline. We all sin and fall short. Crimes should be publicized. But made up crimes, malicious accusations should not ever be methods used to take down somebody no matter who they are. Honorable people do not engage in that.
