If the report is not released the DOJ will be able to get it if it wants it. How do you know what the House has? How do you know what the DOJ has? All we have is They did their investigation and found nothing to charge Gaetz with. If the State of Florida charges him you'll be able to see all the ugly details, maybe true, maybe not, in the media. Until then the House is doing the right thing re a private U.S. citizen.

The state of Florida doesn't have the depositions from the victims. And can't get them from congress because of federal supremacy, and congressional privilege.
If congress doesn't release the information, Florida can't subpoena the information.

He couldn't retaliate because it would likely mean prison time.

Unreliable may cover just the proof they had of interstate (Mann act) violations.
Since there is no federal crime of sex with a minor, that part could be extremely credible, but not a federal crime.
