House Republicans Are Failing America's Democracy On Infrastructure Bill!

House Republicans are incredibly selfish bums for not committing to vote for passage of this bipartisan infrastructure bill, the country desperately needs this bill, a significant amount of its bridge infrastructure teeters on being unsafe, we have pipes that transport water that have lead in them that can leach into the water and cause brain damage for children, we have significant areas of the country that does not have broad band internet connection in this day and age and on and on and this bipartisan infrastructure bill will make a significant difference in reducing these problems and these House Republicans won't vote for passage. These bums don't deserve to be in the House; many of these Republicans continually claim to be conservative, based on the conventional standards of conservatism they should be yes votes on this bill. When the Republicans recently controlled the Senate, the committee that deals with infrastructure came out and said the country definitely needs to spend significantly more on infrastructure. This bipartisan bill increases spending modestly, based on current pay/go standards and dynamic scoring it is essentially paid for there is no good public policy reason for a conservative to be against this bill. These House Republicans that are no votes are betraying their oaths as members of the House of Representatives they should not be in their jobs; there is 212 Republicans in the House at least one hundred of them are not from districts which are overwhelmingly far right which might mitigate their wrongfulness in not being a yes vote so these one hundred should be committed to vote in favor of passage. Nineteen Republican Senators voted yes on this bill when it came up in the Senate, it is indefensible the Republican House isn't producing this percentage of yes votes. It is obvious House Republicans are playing politics here they want to deny the Democrats in having an asset to run on in the 2022 election, a great infrastructure bill, and that is reprehensible beyond words that the Republican House caucus would put party before country!

Awwwww! Big bad Nancy stopped Dotard from doing infrastructure which he had 4 years to accomplish?

Fact is, Trump's only major legistlative accomplishment was his tax cut for the Mar A Lago crowd. He didn't give a shit about anything else as he drove his big useless ass around on a golf cart. He ran his big mouth about infrastructure during the campaign but like everything else that he ran his yap about it was all bullshit.
You are one ignorant fuck.

If we don’t spend 3.5 trillion democracy will die? That’s what democracy is worth today. Spend 3.5 trillion or democracy gets killed.

You fucking clowns are nuts.

It would take a couple of paragraphs to float a bill dedicated to infrastructure and fixing old bridges. The problem is that the actual bill is bigger than a half dozen Stephen King novels and twice as scary. What else is in the bill?

Maybe because the commie libs put stupid stuff in the bill , like the mileage tax. Idiots.

Told you so, so called 'climate change' is nothing but a smokescreen for TAX INCREASES.
Not convinced yet, does raid 5 or 10 more years, it'll be so bad by then everyone everywhere will be affected and then maybe then the Republicans will probably get on board when it's already largely too late.

Here's what the OP is saying, if the GOP would just vote for the bill then we wouldn't have to convince our own Democrats to vote for it

And if they did the inflation rate would be the largest since the Carter years, and then they would be sharing the blame with the Republicans since it was a so-called bipartisan bill.

If you want Republican support, get rid of all the Democrat pork. It's not much simpler than that. But let's take a brief look at just some of the Democrat pork:

1. $10 Billion to Create a β€˜Civilian Climate Corp’

2. $20 Billion to β€˜Advance Racial Equity and Environmental Justice’

3. $175 Billion in Subsidies for Electric Vehicles

4. $213 Billion to Build/Retrofit 2 Million Houses & Buildings

5. $100 Billion for New Public Schools and Making School Lunches β€˜Greener’

6. $12 Billion for Community Colleges

7. Billions to Eliminate β€˜Racial and Gender Inequities’ in STEM

8. $100 Billion to Expand Broadband Internet (And Government Control of It)

9. $25 Billion for Government Childcare Programs

Do you understand what infrastructure is? It's roads, bridges and airports. What does any of this commie shit have to do with that? Now you know why Republicans are not signing on to this, and this is just a partial list of pork.
