Hormuz closed again

This is really simple. We hacectgecairpower to simply CAP the region and eliminate any asset (air, sea or ground) that tries to impede traffic through the waterway.

Well that's simple enough. . .

But where are we going to find anyone brave enough to push the "hacectgecairpower" button?

I'm not sure anyone even knows where it is.

Iran Closes Strait of Hormuz Despite Israel, Hezbollah Agreeing to Ceasefire

To quote James T. Kirk, "Don't believe them. Don't trust them."

The saber-rattling Iranian regime continued its pattern of duplicity with Tehran once again declaring the Strait of Hormuz closed. This reversal comes mere hours after the United States lifted its naval blockade as part of a freshly signed memorandum of understanding with the Islamic Republic.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued the announcement over maritime radio, demanding the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Lebanon and the full removal of American forces from the region. Iran claims the partial nature of the blockade lift violates the agreement signed just days ago between President Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

It’s the latest example of a fundamental truth about dealing with regimes that have spent decades perfecting the art of nuclear blackmail and maritime extortion. The strait, through which roughly one-fifth of global oil supplies once flowed, remains a chokepoint vulnerable to the whims of a theocratic dictatorship that views chaos as a strategic asset.

I like Mark Levin's solution: ( although it may not be the best one; just the one I have agreed with: )

Time for a change in strategy. We should consider slow walking the enemy, building up our munitions, our oil reserves, get the price of gasoline down, get through the midterms, then knock them out. Instead of rushing to a deal, building up their oil industry, transferring billions to them, etc
This conflict was not the direction we were promised. And once started, the time of it extended from a couple of weeks to where we are now. It seems to be dragging on and on and on. Whether Iran is a threat or not, increasing the chances domestically we become communist in the next election is not good if it comes to that.

It’s in their religion. I say we grant it.
They have been begging for destruction
We are hamstrung by virtue preening about “fairness and kindness ” in war by the lib saps so we have advanced weaponry against people hiding in caves snd behind civilians but defer to “war nice” and can’t flood the caves, not bury them in, nor gas them. Plus anytime a civilians hair gets ruffled then it’s genocide atrocity
Need to cut out all the pu**y hindrances.

You know I read the link in the OP. It’s all based on ‘reports’ and I can’t find anything in the news about this.

Iran’s New "Insurance" Rule: Controlling the Strait of Hormuz

In this episode of What's Going On with Shipping, Sal Mercogliano breaks down the latest—and perhaps most bizarre—development in the Strait of Hormuz. Despite the recent Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the U.S. and Iran, the "opening" of the Strait has come with a major catch.

Iran has established the Persian Gulf Strait Authority (PGSA), run by the IRGC, which now requires all commercial vessels to apply for a passage permit and carry Iranian-approved ship insurance. Sal analyzes the new four-page memorandum from the PGSA, exploring the mandatory routes, the liability waivers ship masters must sign, and the surreal nature of being forced to buy insurance from the very group that has historically harassed and seized vessels in these waters.

While there seem to be a lot of indicators that Trump MOU with Iran is legit and not political theater, the biggest indicators that it isn't is consequences for Israel if they do not cooperate. i.e., cutting off funding.

15th post
So first we had to bend over for Iran because, as Trump admitted, we had to avoid a freaking global depression.

Now we have to beg Bibi to stop screwing around in Lebanon and messing up the "deal".

America is dropping by the day. Lower and lower we go.

Who is next to make Trump and America look like goddamn fools? Iceland?

Three more cheers to the Cheeky Ones .
They are really putting the boot in .

This is worse for the clod hopping Zionists than Vietnam , Cambodia and Laos combined .

And separately the World Cup is a financial disaster .
