The difference between those crimes is as stark as "black and white". In my city all you need to hear is the nature of the crime to determine the ethnicity of the perp. We have had a black crime wave here for decades. Because this is one of the most liberal places in America race is downplayed where crime is concerned.

A strong police presence in poor neighborhoods is a proven crime deterrent.
Maybe the cases closed rate would improve for blacks if they didn't have that "snitches get stitches" mentality when stonewalling the police investigate crime.
You can't blame everyone else when the people in your own neighborhoods look the other way when a crime is committed

Everywhere else in cities the crime rate is fueled by black males. When 12 percent of the population is black and 37 percent of all violent crime is committed by blacks that is a crime wave.

Keeping it 100 means truth. You blame others for the problems you perpetuate. You can't blame cops but still refuse to cooperate when they come to help.
Maybe if the majority of law abiding citizens all banded together against the small percentage of thugs committing these crimes & supported each other against retaliation, the problem could be addressed.
Sometimes you have to help yourself if you want to get out of a jamb.
Poor white neighborhoods have the same problems as minority ones do.
