Homan: We're creating a database of people interfering with ICE, gonna make 'em famous!

Yes, they handed out the fascist "get outta jail free" card.

One of the saddest moments in the history of the so called supreme court.

I would hope the supreme court learned a lesson from that ruling, but they're just continuing to expand presidential powers and immunities.
After Citizens United, we were on a rocket ride to the rich being to spend unlimited money, and have unlimited influence in politics.
That decision is what allows Trump to "primary" any politician that opposes him.
Before Citizen United, the campaign finance laws limited donations and spending to around $2,500.
Now we had Elon Musk spending $250 million on Trump's 2024 election.

Most of those convictions were for trespassing not rioting. They were abused by democrats who exploited the problem they created. Today we can watch them incite riots fund riots train rioters all because they are caught in the worst fraud scandal in history. They need to divert the issue keep it out of the media. The hate speech is relentless and Walz is the leader. To think democrats wanted him to be VP. He is going down and taking the democrat party with him
May I point out, your complaint should be with the rules of evidence.
People are convicted based on the evidence against them, and the rioters on January 6th, were caught on so many surveillance cameras, the DOJ was forced to prosecute, and the juries forced to do their duty and convict.

Yes, there are rioters in the streets, but until you catch them on video doing specific illegal acts, you can't just charge them because they were in a particular public place at a certain time.

You have to better define interfering.
If my car gets a flat tire, and i'm blocking traffic when ICE comes through, am I subject to getting arrested?

Clearly Trump wants to make the Supreme Court acknowledged right to film law enforcement subject to an arrest.

Using the left's tactics against them, but I have reservations.

Can't say I approve of "lists". Prosecute them for crimes if you have the evidence.

The problem, which extends across pretty much every aspect of life these days, is no one is held accountable for their actions.

That said if you are out protesting all night and you are on SSDI then maybe that could be looked into.

Yay! Secret Police!

They are all in the pocket's of billionaires.

Somehow that got forgotten when tRump got elected.

They were prosecuted for trespassing after the capital police opened doors for them and invited them in. IT was exaggerated and exploited by democrats.
ANTIFA and ICE riots funded by democrats are 1000 times more destructive and they support them with bail money training and propaganda

The principle is one man one vote. The finance laws used to give equal spending for political influence. But now you can have a single billionaire finance every federal campaign.

Anyone convicted of trespass, was for being in a restricted non-public area, like sitting behind Nancy Pelosi's desk in her office.
Clearly you would think somebody strolling into the Oval Office, without authorization would be subject to arrest.

Unless your legal principles are just too flexible to treat violations equally.

It can be when it becomes obstruction
That would be a very dangerous legal principle.
That would mean a news crew covering an altercation or demonstration involving ICE, could be subject to arrest, and forced to stop their news coverage, because they are "interfering" by their presence on the scene.
Remember they have several people, and large cameras, microphone booms, and a control van all blocking the area.

Jan 6 is nothing compared tie the violent democrat party funded ANTIFA and ICE riots. Jan 6 was exaggerated and exploited. Pelosi made sure there wouldn't be enough cops there and held back the national guard. She set it up they want it to be as bad as possible.

Your problem is with your frustration that there was so much video evidence of lawbreaking on January 6th, showing specific people, performing specific illegal acts,
While street riots weren't filmed in order to catch specific individuals breaking the law.

If you want a legal system where just being in the wrong place at the wrong time is a crime, or participating in a public demonstration illegal,m then I suggest you move to Iran.

Obstruction is a felony. There are many ways to obstruct and using a camera or phone isnt a defense. They key is obstruct not record.

Time to impeach Homan, and Noem and Miller if they continue this path.
To impeach is easy.
To convict you have to find enough republicans in the senate that Trump can't threaten. Either by a political primary, or hinting to his MAGA's to threaten them and their families.
