How do you define “holocaust denial”?
There are plenty of Christian haters here. Are they going to be banned for being anti-Semitic? Christianity is a Semitic religion and Jesus was a Jew.

I agree, those that deny the holocaust are denying reality.
But there is a group you didn't consider. The holocaust justifiers, that Netanyahu is going after the Palestinians, like Hitler went after the Jews after they killed a German diplomat.

Stupid people can do a lot of damage to Jews by spreading and believing antisemitic propaganda. It’s why our shul had to invest in a big new security system and hire an armed military man to guard us during events.
Yeah, they honestly don't matter. The fact is this is America. Free Speech matters.

That's the first issue. There are many holocausts in history. And yet, the WWII event is characterized as "The" Holocaust. Nice monopoly someone has on that trademark.

When does it stop being free speech and turns into an incitement for violence? Should we, for example, shrug and say “free speech” when the Left marches around on campus calling for the murder of all Jews and then Jewish kids are being assaulted, bullied, and blocked from attending class?

What Netanyahu is doing in Gaza is philosophically the same as what Hitler did in the Holocaust.

No it isn’t. Hitler set out to exterminate an entire people - and succeeded by 2/3rds. That is NOT what Israel is doing, and that is why after a year of this war, 99% of Gazans (excluding the HAMAS savages) remain alive.
Drawing a parallel between Hitler and Israel qualifies as antisemitism, according to the U.S. Department of State and 150 other countries.

The problem is differentiating one from the other, "before" the actual riots break out.
The same speech can be ignored by the crowd, or inspire a single mentally deranged person to go on a murder spree.

But it’s not a single deranged person. We’ve had massive riots and actions against Jews, particularly on college campuses, but other places as well. Just the other day someone murdered an innocent Jew who was walking to shul.
Where I live, we have been warned not to wear our Jewish jewelry in public.
This is inspired, in large part, by the lie that Israel is committing genocide.

And so far Netanyahu has eliminated 2.5% of the Palestinians in Gaza, and displaced over 50% of them.

To play devils advocate I could say that murder was by a single mentally deranged individual, which wouldn't justify censoring the free speech.
Since the deranged can be triggered by totally innocent speech as well.

Not much, at least as a practical matter.
The word "lie" is another one that has been abused. Many people will label a difference of opinion as a "lie."
