Elon Musk is not known for his abundance of tact so there's that, there's also the fact that he just lost a personal friend and appears to be quite emotional regarding that fact.

He does however have somewhat of a point, leading voices on the left have continually demonized those on the right for going on a decade using vile and despicable pejoratives, so it's little wonder that rank and file followers that are mentally unstable act on it. While the right is not wholly innocent in this regard, they really don't hold a candle to the left when it comes to spurious accusations and incitement to violence.

The really sad part is Charlie Kirk only sought to engage in dialog and civil debate with those that disagreed with him, and he was murdered for it.
