Fox News poll: 54% oppose Obamacare replacement

Over half of voters (54 percent) oppose the GOP plan -- but that doesn’t tell the full story. Among those against it, two-thirds don’t like it because it makes too many changes to ObamaCare, but one in five complains it doesn’t change the law enough.

Fox News Poll: 34% of voters favor GOP health care plan

from March 7th:

Poll: Majority of Americans want to keep Obamacare

A majority of Americans want to keep the Affordable Care Act in some manner, according to a poll conducted right before GOP lawmakers unveiled their proposal for replacing the law.

Wow even Fox News wasn't able to spin some positive numbers for Trump out of this one.

In other news polls assured you Hillary would be POTUS
They assured she'd win the popular vote by over 2%. She did.

That's worn out and nobody is buying it, get a new angle
Lol what? Are you one of those dumb rubes in denial of reality with the popular vote? In that case don't respond. The world doesn't need anymore stupid in it.

If it soothes your butthurt over being duped by weighted polls go for it....I'll continue pointing out you're a bunch of rubes that were had

The polls on the popular vote were right. The electoral college is obsolete and needs to go.

People want free stuff, health care included. All those people who now have HCI thanks to ObamaCare? 80 some % of them are on Medicaid or subsidized, all we did was create a new entitlement that we cannot pay for. And once you give people free stuff it's a royal bitch to take it away. Obama and the Dems knew that, and here we are trying to stuff the genie back in the bottle.

Problem is, nobody is being truthful about the costs. You just can't offer HCI to people with pre-existing conditions and expect to cover the costs with people who are younger and healthier if they have no incentive to buy insurance. It's just not going to be that cheap, and why would anybody sign up for and pay for HCI if they can wait until they actually need it? The ACA tried the mandate, didn't work. TrumpCare is supposedly doing away with the mandate but keep the pre-existing conditions, saying it'll be cheaper and more healthy people will sign up. I don't think so.

To me the right thing to do is put the truth out there for the public to see. I think HCI oughta be a state-level issue rather than a one size fits all federal program. I would however institute an emergency federal HCI program that every worker pays into like SSI that only covers catastrophic care. And I would not allow states to deny any HCI company entry into their market as long as certain federal guidelines are met. Gotta have as much competition as possible.
