With the Republican party in a civil war, you're going to see millions of Republicans voting for Hillary Clinton. They are the anyone but Trump voters that you saw again tonight. Add them up they beat Trump. The problem was several candidates didn't drop out soon enough, they split the real Republican vote and Trump walks away with a win.
As far as Hillary Clinton, she is talking Republican tonight. She's going after these unhappy Republicans. While right wingers can't stand her, the moderates which are the majority of the party may just cast a vote for Hillary Clinton.
Republicans Senators have praised her in the past, including Paul Ryan, Republican house leader, who stated if she had won in 2008 instead of Obama, they would have fixed this fiscal mess by now.
Hillary's secret weapon? GOP praise
So I think there's a lot of Republicans on the hill that are looking forward to a Hillary Clinton Presidency. They feel they can work with her to get things done.
