'We'll Fight to the Death': Democratic Governors Plan War Against Trump

..and away we go! I foresee much entertainment in the coming months.
The war against Trump "To the death"?
Whose death..exactly?
I remember the first two years of Trump's first term..and utter failure to do ANYTHING substantive because of the Democratic push-back.
Horribly disappointing.

But, now that the Dems have made Lawfare an acceptable political strategy, those dissident Dems will be rounded up in no time. Plenty of room in the DC Jail after the Jan 6 protesters are all released.

Is this Deja-vu all over again?

Democratic governors across the country are gearing up to challenge President-elect Donald Trump's second-term agenda, one of them vowing a fight "to the death."

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy told reporters on Wednesday that his team had recently held a meeting to "war game" the prospect of a second Trump presidency.

New Jersey would be "willing to try anything if it's contrary to our values," Murphy said when asked about what the state would do to counter Trump's sweeping proposals for a second term, including mass deportations.

"If it's contrary to our values, we'll fight to the death," he said. "If there is an opportunity for common ground, we'll seize that as fast as anybody."

Those comments came after Trump triumphed over Vice President Kamala Harris to win a second term in the White House on November 5. Harris urged her supporters to continue fighting for democracy in a concession speech on Wednesday afternoon that mentioned the word "fight" almost 20 times.
California Governor Gavin Newsom on Thursday called for lawmakers to convene a special session to bolster the state's legal resources to protect civil rights, reproductive freedom, climate action and immigrant families.

"The freedoms we hold dear in California are under attack—and we won't sit idle," Newsom said in a statement. "California faced this challenge before, and we know how to respond."

You gotta love it when Progressive Liberals start waving the States Rights flag ...

I’m sure the dems are gearing up to resist Trump. They’ll do whatever they can to shut him down, and stall any agenda he tries. Hopefully, we take the house too and won’t have to worry about it for 2 years.

As far as the governors, the 10th amendment says they have the power in all things not delegated to the federal government. So, that is their right. However, if they stand in the way of things that will help the country and the people, just to keep trump from succeeding, history will judge them harshly.

Now that sounds like an insurrectionist.

Fight to the death or leaving the country in a butthurt huff?

Which one is it?....Can't be both.

15th post
So governors often protected by a sea of security and not even close to the risk of a prez are now talking tough. "To the death." More drama queens.

Long Live The Beating Heart of American Resistance. We Will Win!!!

Yeah right. You love communism and someone to stick fingers in your nose and lead you around. That's.....who you are. You're not fooling anyone, especially when you use caps. Little man.

If you put country first, we would not have had all of the inflation and tens of millions of illegals. So, if the Prog governors stay resolute, and the costs rise, we will see how Progressive Socialist their voters are as they will be forced to pay for it. Progs are fortunate that Trump has made a promise he is the leader of all of the people.
