Oh poster please. For the last month I've been pointing out to EC wankers that the Electors can and do vote for anyone they want, including people who weren't even running for President. "No no" they huffed, "those electors would go to jail if they dare defy their state!"

Guess which one of us was right.

Who might have guessed that a public radio station coffee room attendant would be licensed to practice law in each and every one of Obama's 57 states!

The enlightenment.........it's grand!

The democrats and republicans who failed to vote for the winning candidate should face prison time.

For what?

Out of the 157 conscientious electors who declined to follow that pattern, exactly zero have been prosecuted.
And with good reason. A Constitutional lawyer would rip that state law to shredded underwear.

Now then.

What should the voters who failed to vote for the candidate in their own state face? They've already had their votes thrown away. Is that enough or should they be, I dunno, sterilized? Put on the rack? Drawn and quartered?

It isn't "bad" or "good". It simply proved the point.

Hillary lost and Obama and lefties have been soundly repudiated across the board.

And Republicans werent making fools of themselves across America trying to subvert the democratic process either; it just happened because of the horrible candidate she was.

Trump is as qualified for the job as anyone else who preceded him. You people are just pissed off that a republican won and foiled your plan to turn this country into a socialist country by packing the SCOTUS with uber liberals. You people would be reacting the same way if it was Kascich or Bush who won the election. This isn't about Trump. You're just hiding behind his shadow.

Yup. I'd say a successful businessman is at least as qualified as a "community organizer."

I posted nothing about Rump and I have no such "plan". I posted about the Electoral College, and you can't handle it so you need to change the topic to something completely different.

Been that way all year too.

Not at all.
As noted four years ago as well as this campaign, business and government serve opposite masters. Business exploits the populace; government protects it. Business exists to enrich itself at the expense of the people and of other buisinesses. Government exists to facilitate the ability of the populace to enrich itself. Those are forces pulling in two different directions. As for a community organizer, that's by definition empowering people.

There's no possible argument that business acumen translates to good governance. The two are mutually antagonistic.

Far better would be a military background. At least that person would understand the basic concept of "service".

Admit it. Your ilk was salivating at the thought of lib-controlling the SCOTUS that will validate your unconstitutional laws and executive orders. That's what you people are whining about.

This election has set back your evil plans for a generation. America missed a bullet.

I believe Trump will serve one term then hand over the Presidency to his daughter. She will be the First Female President for eight years. By then the REPs will have put 4-5 SCJs on the bench.
The Constitution WILL be amended to state anyone caught burning the American flag will be shot and killed on sight.
OC will become legal anywhere in the country.
Anyone caught dealing any illegal drug will be shot in sight.
