The Army stated that plans for the Army's 250 birthday celebration had been in the works for two years, but the parade was Trump's idea and planning for it only began recently.

Donald is so much like other demagogs who've been in government like Cheney and others who NEVER WORE THE UNIFORM. One thing I noticed at the King's speech at Fort Bragg is that several of the hand-selected soldiers behind him were wearing their berets totally wrong.
So wrong, I began to wonder if they were actual soldiers and why their commander didn't correct them before they embarrassed the service.
Trump did not win the election because of FOX News. He out Hollywooded you guys. He used streaming. Regular TV channels are near all Progressive Socialist Communist controlled. Near all of the programming and entertainment along with the media and talk show people. Unfortunately, those TV stations are supposed to be for all viewers and alas, they are not.
