Wow, what a great campaign ad for his removal. Environmentalism gone wild. I love fish and all that, but you can't have your cake and eat it too. If you are going to have all this population in Ca, you have a responsibility to the people. I don't see why they can't keep these reservoirs, fill them up, and let the excess flow around to still keep the downstream flowing.

Or they simply pump sea water inland and fill some reservoirs. Either way, you need to keep water on hand in a state where things are so dry most of the year that everything is pure tinder.
