Here Comes The Quagmire

Not true. The oil infrastructure was not targeted, except Israel hit something.

If we take Kharg island we control Iran's oil exports. Stay tuned.
So Trump attacked Iran to take their oil?
Just like Venezuela

Obama got Iran to abandon its nuclear weapons program without shutting down the Strait of Hormuz
Obama even admitted his biggest mistake was not supporting the uprising of Iran’s people against their government. The conditions for an uprising are the best in Iran in decades.

Yes you loons want America to fail, **** you.
War in the Middle East

Inflation rising.

Job growth trending to negative

Just kicked millions off of their health insurance, because $24 billion was too expensive

Sec of War asks for $200 billion for the Pentagon, while in the same breath accusing Iran of investing its money into missiles and bombs instead of into its own people

WILL THE WINNING EVER STOP

No war in the middle east, no matter how you want it. We liberated a country without troops on the ground.
Inflation is below 3%. 12% under Biden.
Jobs growth is rising, but record number of government jobs lost. Yes, makes the numbers look bad. But will definitely help next year.
We have Obamacare now, so how did he kick people off their insurance? You loons said this would solve the problem. Not one Republican voted for it. So how do you say Trump did that?
You're not very bright.

No, Trump attacked Iran to stop their nuclear, drone and missile programs, and terrorist networks.

Iran did not have a nuclear weapon and was not close

They were never a threat to us but have always been a threat to the Strait of Hormuz which they have closed

Tell that to all our men whi died from Iranian IEDs

IEDS are always a threat but not a threat worthy of going to war.

The threat of Iran has always been their ability to stop shipping and hit oil producing neighbors……that is of an order of magnitude worse than IEDs

Iran has 440 kg of 60% enriched uranium, that is very close.
They were becoming a threat to us and to our allies in the region, they were a dangerous terrorist state.

Our pilots are having the time of their lives. Real targets, some moving and working to clear out the trash.

The Democrats would end up with a supermajority in the Senate and House. Enough to impeach and convict Trump.

No they wouldn't. The country is too tribal these days.

It was obvious the War Department (was that name change by our FIFA Peace Prize laureate foreshadowing, or what?) had no intention of regime change in Iran. This exercise is just Trump flexing his sadistic impulses to blow things up like the strongmen he admires so much.

As I have pointed out continuously on this forum, if the original Iran Planâ„¢ was regime change, the US would have forward deployed ground troops

Before anyone jumps the gun and claims there was regime change in Venezuela without troops...no. The same regime is in place, and the military there are hardcore Chavismos. Nothing has changed.

Trump and MAGA World are always trying to change definitions. Like "landslide" when you haven't even won 50 percent of the popular vote, ever. And he and MAGA World are going to try to redefine "regime change" and "victory".

But when you think regime change, think Iraq or Afghanistan or Nazi Germany. That's regime change.

Donald Trump is now at a crossroads. He has not achieved regime change. As soon as one head of government is killed, another pops up to take their place.

The worst case scenario here is that when enough Ayatollahs or other leaders are killed, there will be a military coup and Iran will be run by a strongman. And Trump loves him a strongman. He will actually consider this a victory.

At this juncture, Trump can simply "declare victory and leave", but that will just cause everyone to ROTFLMAO. And he clearly has no intention of declaring victory yet as he is requesting 200 billion more dollars to continue his boondoggle. We've already hit $1 trillion of federal deficit just five months into FY2026, in case you haven't noticed. MAGA hasn't noticed because they are deliberately kept from noticing or saying anything about it.

So...

Sooner or later, Trump is going to have to quit...or deploy ground troops.

Ground troops would be the quagmire. When body bags begin piling up, that's the death of the economy, the Republican Party, and Donald Trump.

Why are leftwingers always negative? I trust the great man to work everything out like he always has.
