donny lied & said he offered 10K national guard - & pelosi 'refused' it.I read the stuff you posted, the fact is, Trump authorized the Guard to protect the Capitol before the protests even took place.
Then charge them and take them to court. I have no problem with that.'insurrection' is probably not in the works ... but seditious conspiracy is still on the table. over 100 of the 700 people arrested/charged with various crimes have pleaded guilty to much lower charges & a good number of them are what is called 'low hanging fruit'.
the more serious crimes are still being investigated but seem to be starting to be reported on. & a 'superseding' indictment is always available as more layers of the flying monkeys crimes are revealed.
Prosecutors Shift Focus to Possible Seditious Conspiracy in Capitol Insurrection Probe
More serious charge
Now, prosecutors are increasingly focused on building the conspiracy cases and considering upping the ante by bringing the little-used but far more serious charges of “seditious conspiracy,” which carry up to 20 years in prison, according to current and former law enforcement officials.
In an interview that aired on Sunday, federal prosecutor Michael Sherwin, who until last week headed the investigation, told the CBS News program “60 Minutes” that the “evidence is trending toward” bringing seditious conspiracy charges.
A seditious conspiracy is defined in federal law as two or more people plotting together to use force to overthrow the U.S. government, oppose its authority or “prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States.”

Matthew Greene, a member of the right-wing group the Proud Boys, pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges of conspiracy and obstruction in the January 6 Capitol riot.
Greene, 34, of Syracuse, New York, "conspired with fellow members of the Proud Boys, a self-described 'pro-Western fraternal organization for men who refuse to apologize for creating the modern world; aka Western Chauvinists'" to disrupt the certification of the 2020 election, prosecutors said.
As part of a plea agreement, Greene pleaded guilty to conspiracy and obstruction of an official proceeding in exchange for having other charges against him dropped and a possible reduced sentence. He could face between 41 and 51 months in prison and a fine between $15,000 and $150,000.
