Hello from Fayetteville, NC

Fayetville eh?

You're about an hour away, I'm just west of Raleigh town called Cary.

Welcome! Good to have another Carolinian around here.

What's up? I was stationed at Pope for three years and lived in Spring Lake and Raleigh.

Welcome. My ex-Mother-in-Law used to live in nearby Hope Mills. She is long dead now but in her prime she was known as the meanest woman in that part of North Carolina. You might have heard her name tossed about...

Come again? :eusa_eh:

Another North Carolinian - Welcome! Tom - he may be thinking of the old saying that NC is a valley of humility between two mountains of aristocracy. I was born in Wilson - not terribly far from Raleigh. Still have kinfolk in that area - Bunn. Original home place was Kenly.
