that would be a subset, perhaps. and hey, worth putting on the table to look into.suggesting we stop wasting time going after guns when guns are simply how anger is being shown.Maybe we should go for the source of the problem, not the tools used to express rage. So?
There you go with the "WMD" lie again.
If by "daily basis" you mean an average of 10 per year, sure.
Why do you need to lie to make a point?
I guess you are right. AR15's are not killing people on a daily basis. Guns in general are. Not specifically AR15's. So I did misspeak. My bad.
Excuse me. Guns don't kill people, people kill people. Maybe we should ban people.
We should. What are you suggesting?
lets figure out what got people so angry. maybe, just maybe, it's the culture we create with hate and division on a minute by minute basis. maybe WE ARE responsible for this in as much as the guns.
I know what it is
For most U.S. workers, real wages have barely budged in decades
On the face of it, these should be heady times for American workers. U.S. unemployment is as low as it’s been in nearly two decades (3.9% as of July) and the nation’s private-sector employers have been adding jobs for 101 straight months – 19.5 million since the Great Recession-related cuts finally abated in early 2010, and 1.5 million just since the beginning of the year.
But despite the strong labor market, wage growth has lagged economists’ expectations. In fact, despite some ups and downs over the past several decades, today’s real average wage (that is, the wage after accounting for inflation) has about the same purchasing power it did 40 years ago. And what wage gains there have been have mostly flowed to the highest-paid tier of workers.
so would ADHD and drugging our kids to make them "settle down". when i was a kid we went outside and ran all over the place to let that energy go. these days we medicate it to, in my opinion, make parenting easier.
we also tear into each other far too easily and for the most stupid of reasons. i think the russians trolling was successful because we *are* a bunch of overly-sensitive asswhipes looking for reasons to be offended. in my mind, the left MAKES UP shit to be offended about. this in turn makes anything worth consideration of "offense" less worthy cause you cry wolf all the damn time.
banning guns, alcohol, prostitution, drugs and the like - well it's never stopped it nor changed behaviors.
Come to think of it, they should just tear down the wall and invite Hamas in with them! God are you an idiot.
