If we go back to the real intent of the founders (a citizen militia system and unrestricted foot soldier weapons access, I would be willing to have a tax funded emergency health care system, paid for by a reduced domestic defense costs (because of the militia) and a no-more-world-police reduction in "defense" spending, or at least reimbursement from the nations we spend trillions to protect.
