Healthcare.gov Operating In Violation Of Federal Security Law

The Obama administration is operating healthcare.gov in violation of federal security law by not ensuring the privacy and security of its users.

The Daily Caller is reporting that under federal law, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is required to have an “Authority to Operate,” and in order to receive such authority, technology systems must perform a system of self tests. Those tests were not done.

In the CMS budget request, no self test took place and the “online marketplace” was unveiled without “full end-to-end testing.”

Because of the sheer size of Obamacare, CMS was unable to complete the required security, which means the program would not receive authority to operate and would therefore be in violation of the Federal Information Security Management Act.

We need an Inspector General for Obamacare who would close down this boondoggle right away,
