Just going by the precedent already set. Any attempt at making the election more secure is met with the same tired argument from Democrats. It is very telling.

Battleground states are often decided by just thousands of votes.
Most importantly, countless senior officials from both political parties have stated that the elections can be affected by cheating enough to change the outcome.
That tells you everything you need to know - that American elections can indeed be stolen.
Non citizens? Does that mean they no longer live in Virginia or that they are foreigners...no US citizens?

I wonder if this amounts to anything more than a publicity stunt. Getting non-citizens off the ballot is good. However, there needs to be an explanation on how they were registered in the first place and the situation addressed. Arrests need to be made. Otherwise, the government bureaucrats entrusted to these matters will simply be outsmarted once again.

In an Aug. 9 retweet of a post by a conservative magazine writer about Virginia’s executive order, Johnson stated that Democrats “are perfectly fine with noncitizens voting in our elections.” To back that up, the Louisiana Republican pointed to how Democrats had voted against the SAVE Act bill that would require all Americans to prove citizenship when registering to vote.
