Head Start is a failed program. It has has never accomplished it's stated mission.

Neither has all the money taxpayers have given Space X.

This is horrible. Headstart is a great program that helps young children from low income families. It looks like Trump and Musk are trying to cancel all the Great Society programs started by LBJ and Sargent Shriver back in the 1960s.
Do they want millions of people to return to the misery and poverty we saw pre-1960? That's what it looks like. Is this what Trump voters wanted?

Those programs have been failures since day one. It was LBJ who said he would end poverty and ever since then democrats have been following in his footsteps. Now we have much more poverty than we had before.

That is one of the oldest wives' tales that no good teacher ever believes. If a kid reads poorly after years of HeadStart by the time they reach third grade, it didn't take. End of story.

I really didn't. I quit when I was retirement eligible by age. The state tried to take away my retirement and thousands of teachers voted with their feet that year. The governor lost his reelection bid all because teachers rallied to vote him out.
